A really disappointing check in experience for us this time. The incorrect credit card was charged even though we provided a credit card to charge on check in.
When we were booking, we put in 5 people for the booking and the website told us to put the extra bed in the reservation notes however we were led to believe the booking cost included 5 people. On check in, we were then told we had to pay for the extra roll out bed however this was not specified on the booking website. We were told this despite the huge error in charging the full cost of the stay to the incorrect credit card.
I would have thought the correct thing to do would be to reverse the incorrect credit card transaction, charge the correct credit card and as a gesture of goodwill, not charge us for the fold out bed which as we explained on check in was included in our booking form.
