All on the Ground Floor: Open plan living space. A perfect waterside setting welcoming families and couples. This modernised holiday home (refurbished in 2022) offers a wonderful base for exploring the famous Norfolk Broads with its miles of waterways to enjoy. Boasting light contemporary open plan accommodation with French doors opening into the enclosed artificial grass turfed garden great for children and pets. Standing alongside the water, set on a quiet waterway leading to the River Bure, within the popular village of Horning. The village has 3 pubs, shops, café and ice cream parlour to enjoy. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy fishing from the garden. A motor launch can be privately hired (day rates apply) to truly enjoy and explore the waterways. The Broads are a haven for wildlife, and a must for any birdwatching enthusiast. Horning Leisure Centre, open for day guests, boasts an indoor swimming pool and fitness centre. Wroxham, known as capital of the Norfolk Broads is just 11 minutes by car, or an hour by boat. It offers a supermarket, shops, cafés, railway station and a model village, as well as daily river trips. Great Yarmouth is a traditional family seaside resort 17 miles away, and excellent sandy beaches can be found 12 miles away. RSPB Nature and bird reserves all within a short drive away. The Bure Valley Railway, Norfolk’s longest narrow gauge railway, provides a great day out on the steam trains and runs from Wroxham to Aylsham, stopping at riverside village of Coltishall. Children will enjoy a visit to BeWILDerwood, an outdoor tree top adventure park, just 1 mile away. The National Trust Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Halls are well worth visiting, or alternatively the city of Norwich is 30 minutes’ drive having two indoor shopping malls, market square, two cathedrals, castle museum, theatre, many cafés and restaurants. When you enter the road where the cottage is situated it is a bit confusing as where you have to go and on asking the business at the top of the road they had not heard of it.
