The rooms were beautiful, clean, relaxing with everything you would possibly need very impressed with all of the staff nothing was too much trouble for any of them all super friendle xx As for food its second to none just lovely .would recommend to everyone. "A most relaxing 3 night break. Excellent breakfast, with flexible times to eat, & very attentive staff. Comfortable, super- clean room & bathroom, & quiet at night. Shame we didn't have a window, but were informed of this a few days before arrival,- skylight only. I'd advise to ask for a window if you want a view!!Very friendly welcoming staff & beautiful decor."

"This was just a stop-over on our way home from Scotland. Our room was clean and had everything we needed (apart from tea bags!) and we ate down in the bar in the evening too. Wow! What a magnificent meal it was. Great food and good prices too. "

"Great place, exactly what we needed for our roadside stop on the way from Scotland down to the SE of England. Excellent facilities- a real treat to have a swim and gym after a long drive. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful- I was erroneously charged twice for the stay due to a mix up by Expedia, but this was resolved quickly and efficiently by one of the receptionists at the hotel (also really refreshing in a big international hotel chain to be able to call up and speak to staff at the hotel directly, instead of an international call centre)."

"Although we did spend a bit more on a room in the castle it was worth every penny The room was large and spotless and all of the service we received was excellent from every member of the staff nothing was ever to much trouble and they were always on hand to help The food was excellent quality and well cooked It’s set in beautiful grounds and I would not hesitate to book again If you feel like treating yourself book a few days at this hotel you won’t be disappointed "
