Nice, clean, quiet hotel with convenient location

Posted 28-Aug-2015
Pros: Breakfast is great!
Cons: I would think a little larger glass for juice, milk, water and soda would actually save some money in the long run.
After explaining to the front desk that we had arrived in town early and had been traveling since very early in the morning-we were allowed to check in a few hrs early. Our entire stay the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Temporary Housing for Us

Posted 18-Aug-2015
Pros: LOVED the hot tub and pool, and that pets are welcome! I didn't get to try the work out room but it looked terrific too. Food was terrific!
Cons: We couldn't get the ATM machine to work
We were "homeless" for 5 nights while waiting on a new home loan for a house we purchased to close. The first 2 nights we stayed in a "dump".....I was going for cheap and a place that accepted our 2 small dogs. I looked on-line and found that the Ramada accepted dogs and once I saw the pool and hot tub I booked it. The room rate was only a little bit higher than the "dump" we were in, so to me it was worth it. Then, to my surprise, when we checked in, we received coupons for a complimentary breakfast buffet which was delicious as well as coupons for 20% off at the restaurant. We ate there all 3 nights and mornings even though the hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants because we liked the convenience and both worked long days so we wanted to spend some time with our dogs. LOVED staying here and will definitely be back when we need a hotel or maybe even just a couple nights to get away!

Not a place we will return to.

The air conditioning did not work. They replaced it with another that didn't work. It was probably close to 90 degrees in our room. The room itself was really old and poorly furnished. The bed was comfortable. That's the only positive I have. They gave us a $40 dollar credit. Twenty dollars a night for miserably uncomfortable conditions.

Rooms And interior need updating. Ok hotel but not a 3.9 on my scale. Hard to make it to a 3. Very nice park, walking/biking trails and restaurants by hotel.

Overall the hotel was great. Right off the highway, good breakfast, delicious restaurants within walking distance or a couple miles away. My only gripe was that the bed frame was bigger/longer than the bed and I constantly stubbed my toe or tripped over the end of the frame. Even pulling the mattress down did not help. Other than that, the bed was comfortable enough and I slept well.

Smells like old smoke

Posted 09-Aug-2015
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: Tear it down and build a new non-smoking hotel on the same site.
I would have given this hotel zero stars if not for two things. The location was great, lots of places to eat right by. No need to drive to them. Excellent breakfast and the water pressure in the shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Now the bad. Non-smoking room smelled like they cleaned a smoking room and tried to cover the smell with very strong room freshener. Both gave me a terrible headache. I could practically taste it. The rooms are in need of repair, or a total gut job. Non working coffee maker. Elevator doors that took so long to close we ended up taking the stairs, even when we were pushing the close door button, it just didn't happen 90% of the time. Had to go 2 floors down to find a vending machine that wasn't out of bottled water. The bed frame stuck out so far both of us cracked our ankles against it a couple times before we stuck a pillow by it so we wouldn't do it again in the dark. The whole place felt like and old Vegas hotel. Dark with low ceilings. Bed was clean and comfortable enough. Worth more money to stay at one of the newer hotels nearby.

Nice, but can smell the pool.

Posted 03-Aug-2015
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The odor from the pool
Location: Close to the highway, but not really loud. Lots of restaurants near by.
Staff was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. A little tight with the king size bed.

Can you pass the ketchup please?

Posted 31-Jul-2015
Pros: Most of the hotel staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. The location was out of the city enough to be somewhat quiet.
Cons: The rooms could be upgraded.
Location: Restaurants are in walking distance. In Denver we recommend Crepes and Crepes in Cheery Creek, Snarfs and Little Man ice cream. Skip the Art Museum.
Our overall experience wasn't horrible but it wasn't worth our money either. The hotel itself is a little out of date but still decent. The rooms are spacious and clean but are painted an alarming shade of ketchup and mustard, the furniture was wobbly and one of our mattress was pretty lumpy. Our keys didn't work the first time around so we had to go back down to fix that. The biggest problem we had with this hotel was that our air conditioner was broken the first night and the next morning we asked a very unprofessional looking girl at the front desk to fix it - we came back around 10pm that night and found the air conditioner had never even been looked at and had to go down to ask them to send someone to fix it again. Luckily, all they needed to do was just pull the entire unit out of the wall and replaced it with a new one! It only took about 20 minutes to fix but by then it was close to 11pm and we were exhausted. Also there was a guys and girls soccer team on our floor (and above it) who decided to stay up and party all night.
