Pros: was convenient to get to from the events we were at prices were fair.

Terrible experience

Posted 14-Oct-2017
Several things were wrong with the room. - refrigerator didn't work so my shot that needed to be refrigerated went bad. - toilet seat was broke so when you sat on it you almost fell off. - no. Room between desk chair and bed. We must of ran into the bed frame about 10 times. Picture below - the lamp next to the bed had the knob broke off so I had to climb behind the bed to get to the outlet to unplug it. - the people across the hall was smoking. The smoke was so bad everyone was commenting about it. - not hotel fault the people across the hall were out of control.. slamming doors kicking people out of the room. - the hotel did try to make it right when we checked out.

Just like the other reviews with a twist.

Posted 11-Oct-2017
Pros: Close to where I need to go. I will become a regular customer here.
Cons: Like the other reviews (and mine) state, this hotel does need to be renovated. Main concern for me is lack of plug-in around desk. Update wireless.
Location: Mini mall (the plaza part of name) and grocery store (Safeway) nearby.
I am not going to blow smoke on this review. Other reviews for hotel state that the hotel is in need of renovation. Those reviews are spot on. It does need some work. I will state however that this hotel is in better shape than the other hotels in sight that are newer and as such not well maintained or anywhere near as clean as the Ramada Plaza. The breakfast served is simply excellent. Full breakfast and not anywhere near "Continental" and all maintained hot and is fresh and excellent. Will I return to this hotel? Most certainly. The reason? The Staff! The staff at this hotel (front desk, IT support phone call, housekeeping) is all excellent. Having a position that requires me to travel the world (Rome, Madrid, Dubai, Yaoundé, Niamey etc.) this hotel has the best staff I have ever encountered (includes Dubai where hotel employees act almost like indentured servants). They were all helpful and knowledgeable. .

Too close for comfort

Posted 01-Oct-2017
Room was cramped.. no fan in the bathroom..not enough towels for 2 people.. bed frame was larger than bed., bumped shins and feet constantly.. good variety at breakfast but biscuits were hard as rocks! Even the gravy didn't soften them..plus side bed was very comfortable and loved the amount of pillows. Staff was friendly..

Needs maintenance

Posted 30-Sep-2017
Pros: pleasant staff
Cons: maintenance and cleanliness
Location: variety of eating establishments close by
Pleasant front desk staff. Bed was comfortable but the room was in need of upgrading, maintenance and cleaning. Shabby and depressing.

Comfy room, good breakfast

Posted 14-Sep-2017
The Ramada Plaza in Northglenn is a pleasant place to stay. While the rooms are a little dated and could use some new curtains and sprucing up to appear a little more modern, the hotel itself has a certain charm all it's own. The beds had crisp, clean sheets and were extremely comfortable. The room was clean and despite being pet friendly, smelled great. The staff went above and beyond to help our stay be a pleasurable one by even asking me if we would like a disabled accessable room to make it easier for me to move around in my scooter. A friendly, interesting team of housekeepers provided requested items quickly and without question. The front desk staff answered questions quickly and thoroughly, being careful to give detailed information about how to get to our room the easiest. The abundance of breakfast items was refreshing to see in the morning. Items such as fluffy scrambled eggs, omelettes to order, fresh fruit, pancakes and waffles, sausage and fried potatoes made it so that even the pickiest of eaters could have a solid breakfast. A well kept pool added to the atmosphere giving families something to do in the evening. Overall a nice place to stay for a reasonable price. We will definitely stay again.

A Second Stay Even More Pleasant Than The First...

Posted 30-Aug-2017
Pros: Spacious, Great Breakfast, Quiet, and Secure. (Sometimes, you don't care too much for other guests - or the parking lot crowd.)
Cons: General maintenance - the door closer didn't have the "umph" to close and lock the doort. A lamp didn't work - since I didn't use it, it didn't matter
Location: Went there on business, so local sights not important - but did visit nearby Rocky Mountain National Park - and enjoyed it.
It's rare I stay at a hotel twice - even rarer when, as I did this time, stay there on successive weekends. But the second stay was like coming home for "old home week" - I knew the ropes (not that big a deal, just familiar and comforting). I like staying here, and will be back again for my next trip to Denver.
