Great room and privacy. Nice staff. Nice breakfast. Clean. Love the courtyard. Pool was nice. Each first floor room has a patio . Hope to stay again.

Dump! I think this place houses welfare people or druggies. I saw 2 rooms that smelled horrible, dirty old furniture and carpets, and bugs! The lobby was just as bad. The girl at front desk was very nice. I booked another hotel and left. Unbelievable that the other reviews are positive. Steer clear.

Good Morning! I am really sorry to hear that!, We used to have security guards during night but unfortunately in the mean time we don't have any and we're trying to hire. We tell all our guests that all rooms are non smoking but still some of them don't follow rules. I really apologize and hope to accommodate you better the next time. Home away from home
We had to make a last minute trip to see my mom. It was nice to have a place to stay with all the comforts of home away from home.

I like Residence Inns in general because of their livability and this one in particular because it's quiet, nicely landscaped, and near walking/running trails.

Parking fee in herndon, va? Really......?
I literally stayed here last night....and tonight was charged $12 to park in an empty parking lot, in a small town, surrounded by many shopping centers with many open spaces.

We needed a suite for a disabled person and it was exactly what we needed with all the amenities. My father was able to live there for 2 weeks waiting for the apartment to be repaired.

Horrible front desk. We checked in late night after 11 hour drive. We had some party going on upstairs where they were jumping up and down. I called into complain at 11:30 and I was told they will look into it. I called 5 times after that (every hour). Once I was told security guard is asleep. Second was the front desk guy will speak with them. At 4 they said they will call cops and noise finally stopped at 5 am. They did not offer us to move somewhere else. When I raised to front desk in the morning, all I was told that they are sorry and that they did their best. Since I had prepaid through Expedia, he couldn’t do much (Expedia said they didn’t offer to refund). All I was told that they will waive my parking fee which wasn’t even mentioned when I booked the hotel on Expedia or when I checked in. Hotel is clean but management really needs to care about their customers and they don’t.

The staff was fantastic and very attentive. The breakfast was good and the property, although a bit dated, was in great shape and very clean. It’s in the middle of a very quiet business park with walking distance to Safeway and a lot of other restaurants and small shops. I highly recommend it.

This Residence Inn has lovely, clean, spacious rooms (I had a king studio) on nicely landscaped grounds. It's quiet but close to grocery stores and an excellent Indian restaurant across the street. My treatment by the manager/proprietor felt ageist but regardless of motivation was offensive. I stayed 5 nights but was initially assigned a heavily-used room that stank of cleaning materials. Going back to reception there was a person in front of me who received an upgrade, an offer to choose which floor she was on, and a room on the courtyard side. I did not receive such gracious treatment. When I checked out at 5:30 am there was no one in reception, no visible key box or instructions, so I left the key at the reception desk. When I returned home there was a new bill in my inbox alleging that I had checked out late. Since there wasn't an extra charge I didn't pursue the issue.

I was surprised when I had read some negative reviews about yhis property, because our experience was all positive. My wife and I and our dog and cat stayes yhere two nights during our move from the area. I found their staff to be welcoming, knowledgeable, and very professional. Our room was very clean, quiet, and very spacious. Our bed was very comfortable. Overall we would definitely recommend and would also stay again when in town.

I didn't like the extra charge for parking. Just include it in the rate!!! I like having to key into the building and then into the room. I didn't like the fact that the keys had to be replace 4 times (because they stopped working and the staff knew that this was an existing problem) in the five days we were there. I like that the property is pet friendly but the poop bag station did not have poop bags the entire time we were there.

Asst GM rude & housekeeping lacking / not hygienic
Hidden 12$/night parking fee - I chose to park off the lot. Asst GM wld not comp the parking rate who gave me parking tag before telling me abt this extra fee (and booking confirmation did not show fee inc no email from Marriott starting there is a parking fee) based on the fact I made reservation not knowing abt additional fees - I wld have not reserved at this hotel. The asst GM told me I cld cancel reservation (but I wld be charged since beyond cancel window) and go to another hotel. I’m a Marriott member and only book at Marriott hotels. Very upsetting. I later talked to GM who corrected the issue and comp the parking - such a small price to keep a customer happy. The room was missing some items but housekeeping was responsive & brought items right away. However, on the day of check out, housekeeping knocked on door at 11:15 am (checkout is noon) and without waiting for response opened up door - I also had a late checkout. Lastly when I saw housekeeping in hallway, cleaning another room - they put towels & sheets / bedding on floor - disgusting.. clean towels should be kept on a cart or carried not on dirty floor !

Staff very nice, there was some sketchy stuff happening and I witnessed drug use outside in the courtyard and I didn’t feel safe. There were constant in and out and doors slamming all night. The room was clean bed was hard as a rock.

Last weekend for the pool.
Parking is $12 a day. Very silly we are not downtown. I left my car elsewhere. Room is not dirty just worn. Carpet, mattress, couch should be replaced. But do NOT up date the shower head. Best water pressure ever!!!! Breakfast very repetitive. But it’s open, clean and the ladies do an excellent job.

Good for short or long stay
we only needed it for two nights due to construction at nearby house, but could have stayed there for a month (oven, full frig/frzr, m/w, d/w, toaster, and just enough dish/pots. Not sure I knew parking had fee, but it was within reason. Nice grounds, breakfast. Near stores/restaurants. Only problem was a loud custodial staff in hallway during a Zoom meeting, but they it was short-lived.

All was fine, good room, clean, friendly staff until they tried to check us out 2 days early. We had confirmation but were away ftom hotel when they cslled and asked what to do with our stuff. Had trouble getting them to recieve copy of our confirmation over email since we couldnt get back to hotel then. Also breskfast, a bag pick up, always out of almost everything,, an hour before breakfast closes down often only a few bags left with most popular content taken out of bags.

The room was big and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette was fully supplied with anything you might need for a short stay. The 'continental breakfast' was disappointing, to say the least. The slider screen door was mangled to an unusable state and the TV remote had a missing back. These two things came as a surprise to the staff, as nearly as I could understand them.

Spacious rooms with well defined areas - great layout for business or vacation. Grounds are well kept. The continental breakfast was not up to par.
