Disappointing

Pros: The water was hot.
Cons: The entire hotel could use an entire makeover, from the outside appearance of the facility to the inside of the rooms.
Location: The location was nearby several restaurants and shopping centers.
I have nothing against the Motel 6 Franchise because I have stayed at several Motel 6 in my lifetime, and I was not expecting a 5 star hotel. However, that Motel 6 considerably gives the Motel 6 franchise a ban name. The facility in general was very trashy. The staff was nice and pleasant, but seem lost for words when asked a question about a room or receiving a complain about something not working. There were roaches in the room, and all of the blankets on the bed had cigarette holes in them for a non-smoking room. The t.v. was constantly messing up and the remote partially worked.

It was in the slums.

Black mold on tub. Rust on refrigerator. Paint peeling off wall. Chair cushion filthy. Lamp shades were broken. Floor jousts were weak. Overall the room was unclean. Bed was like a rock.

We stop here year after year on route back home to Canada after the winter season in Florida. This is an older facility that would need some love and maintenance, but for 43$ for two comfortable Queen beds, clean towels and plentiful hot water available in the shower, I can easily go over the damaged bathroom door and other visible wear and tear in the room. We got there at 23:30 on a Thursday night and got prompt and friendly service. I had made the reservation through Expedia but forgot to mention that I needed a ground floor room since I was traveling with my 79 year old dad, so I called them directly and they fixed it right away. Our ground floor room was ready when we got there and all we had to do was shower and go to bed.

Room was in bad shape, sinking floors, stains, etc. Bed spread had cigarette burns and stains, I slept on top of bed.

Very happy with the price, good room until I found the king hair ball in the tub. I removed it and to my surprise it must of made the housekeeper very happy because my stay was excellent after that, I could tell other areas of my room were being cleaned also

Room was filthy bed is disarray. Sink and tub dirty. Light cords severed. Floor sinking in. Dresser torn apart. No microwave no refrigerator. Told me at check in that they overbooked and can move me to better room at 1pm on 3/31. I work nights and explained the huge inconvinience

Scary experience!! Beware!!!!

Blood dripping down the bathroom wall, bed made incorectly and ashes or mascara smeared on the end off the bed. Dont think sheets were cleaned just rotated to hide dirt. Room was in bad repair and the floor was sinking into room below. When i pulled all the sheets off the matress there was a big stain in the middle of the bed. If it had not been 12am and we had not been driving for 10 hours we would have not stayed. Luckily i had pillows and blankets with me so we used those. I would not take my shoes off in there and to top it off the night check in man was rude and arrogent. Beware.. Spend the extra $10 for a better place.
