"We loved our stay at Fred’s property. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate enough for us to enjoy the water, but the views and cozy cottage provided a relaxing time away nonetheless. Location was great — off the beaten path but still a quick drive to town."

"We stayed there for Moms funeral. The staff was informative and friendly, the breakfasts reasonable and the location to where we needed to be with family convenient. We’re grateful for the bed and the space but there’s no place like home!"

"You do have a golf cart available in the front of the hotel. You really should have someone drive people to & from the parking lots. A few times coming in to the hotel at night there is insufficient lighting and no-one ever to ride you back from the parking lots."

"We were sold on the rental because of its size, location, and pet friendliness. The hosts provided an immaculate, spacious, and attractive rental, complete with bedding and towels. The kitchen had all the necessities, including lots of flatware, mugs, glasses, plates, pots and pans. Dishwasher, coffee maker and Keurig were also provided. Full clothes washer and dryer made it possible for us to do our laundry and pack it clean for home. Home is nestled overlooking the river. Expansive windows made us really appreciate the view. More family would have stayed with us, but plans changed unexpectedly. Great communication with hosts. Guests are expected to take their trash to the dumpster a few miles away upon departure. Having visited the Northern Neck before, I had anticipated that. Hosts provided directions to dumpster and it was easy to find. Air hockey was fun and spouse enjoyed televised football. I caught a movie on Netflix. We would really enjoy another opportunity to stay there in warmer weather."

"Great house with beautiful location. Beach access is a little difficult, but we had enough people that we also rented the house next door, so all worked out. Lots of space in the house. All rooms are adequate size for families. We hope to return."

"Beautiful house and beautiful location. Unbelievable historic charm! Great property/grounds. We loved the walk down to the Little Wicomico Pier could use a little maintenance-deckboards and secure ladder. Bath towels had stains. Some minor maintenance needs around the house-light bulbs,loose hinges, exterior door handle loose. Restaurants in the area seem to be a little hit or miss....only recommendations from our stay would be pizza from The Dairy Barn in Burgess & breakfast from Fawn's Delectable Cafe in Reedville Still enjoyed the stay and would stay again. 100% would recommend without hesitation"
