Arrived at busy check-in, & manager stepped in to support reception staff which was appreciated. All areas clean & well maintained. Room quiet, modern & comfortable. Bathroom very good - hot water in shower = instant!

I liked the breakfast and rooms were adequately equipped with comfortable beds. Didn't like paying to park. Should be free for hotel guests.

The hotel location is good and the staff delivered excellent customer service Christina at the front desk and Kevin DeFreitas in the bar and restaurant. Also the young lady server in the restaurant The one thing is that our room was too small for a king size bed. No space to move around. At least a small fridge would be nice to have. There should be an ice maker on some of the floors. Love that we could make coffee or tea Excellent renovated bathroom

The stay was amazing. The only fault was tgere was no fan for the bedroom and the air conditioning turned off withing 45 minutes so the room was extreamly hot.

Ok hotel poor booking
Note was fine. Check in poor. The lady at reception was great but my booking from Hotels.com was not passed onto the hotel. It took 20minuted to sort out.

A predictable scenario poorly managed
Truly dreadful, an awards ceremony finished at 2 and the after party kicked off in the room above from 2:30-5:00, my alarm at 6:30 to speak at a conference for the entire day was unwelcome. The hotel took no responsibility or offered any recompense.

Good spot for the Theatre
We went to an event at the Derngate Theatre and the hotel was less than a 10 minute walk away. Quick check-in, the room was good and it was very quiet. Left the car in the car park right in front of the hotel for £7.

A hotel that actually has bath towels that wrap around your body. Most hotels have glorified hand towels.

Easy check in. Room was clean and tidy although we were only given 1 bath towel for 2 persons. The breakfast was plentiful and a good selection. The negative was the car park which we had to pay £7 for, it had takeaway containers every where.

Reception and the bar area looked good at arrival and the staff were very polite. Check in was easy and then the room was nice. The bed was very comfortable and good facilities in the room. The bathroom needs a little bit of a refurb/ update but overall it was good. The area around the hotel is mostly the main road but there is a park that is apparently popular to dodgy characters at night. If you avoid all that it is a short walk into the town!
