Pros: The Staff
Cons: Hotel needs a bit of updating.
The hotel was suitable for our needs but needs a bit of updating. We wanted to eat in the hotel on Sat night but due to Christmas parties the restaurant was closed. They put us in a conference room away from the noisy party and made us aware of the waiting time for food. We had a wonderful evening in this private room and were looked after very well. The experience we had with the front desk was just wonderful. I would like to say a special thank you to Drew and Pedro for looking after us. They were amazing.

Never again!!

Posted 02-Dec-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: It is located near the A45 and about 3km for town centre.
I was checked into a physically disabled room although I am not disabled in any way whatsoever. The bathroom was filthy, and the the toilet bowl stained from poor hygiene. The TV didn't work properly mostly giving a "weak signal" screen, and the telephone was faulty. The room in general was of a very poor standard. The staff were unhelpful and sloppy with their personal hygiene clearly lacking. At one point, I believed I was receiving bad treatment because I was an Expedia-booked guest. I stay in many hotels on a regular basis, and this must be the worst experience I have ever had. British hotels are generally of a poor standard (even 5-star ones) compared with other hotels around the globe, but this one was by far the worst experience.

Never again at this hotel!!

Pros: Available parking.
Cons: The list is too long to discuss here. But the staff looked scruffy, the surroundings of the hotel were shocking and room comfort non-existent
Location: Located close to the A45 and about 3km from town centre
Booked for three days and checked out the first morning, speaks volumes about this hotel. Placing me in a room for physically disabled persons, shocked me. But I only discovered this late at night when I went to the bathroom to get ready for bed. A family member was rushed to hospital emergency and I tried to call abroad. There must have been a loose connection on the phone as I could barely hear anything that was said. I then switched on the TV to find a message that there was a weak signal and had to abandon catching up on the news. I then tried to get onto the Internet to check my emails. At Reception I was assured Internet was complimentary, although rendering of the first web page took so long I gave up. I then accepted their "paid" version and again could not access the Internet. Going to the toilet to meet nature's call, the bowl was dirty and badly stained and the bathroom in general was not clean. The bed was so uncomfortable I could barely sleep. And then the noises started around 4 am making sure that I packed my bag a short while later and left, cutting short my business/social trip to Northampton.

Got something to improve

The tub is hard to get in and the plastic door above the tub is uneasy to shut, therefore it leaks. The condition is excellent.

Overpriced

The hotel is well located and a typical Holiday Inn. Nothing to write home about. I thought it was seriously overpriced but then aren't all Holiday Inns?

Like a cheap B&B with Hilton price tag

Posted 27-Sep-2015 on Hotels
Don't be fooled by the brand name....this hotel is worse than a cheap B&B in a run down area but with a Hilton price tag (I paid £145/night). > Smells like paint everywhere, carpet seems dirty and smelly as well > Nice and fancy bathroom but the towels were old and smelly. so horrible that i nearly got sick, ended up using my own towel > Room service don't even make your bed properly, just cover the undone/messy bedsheet with the duvet and I used to find my pillow exactly where I left them before i went out. Used glasses and empty water bottle were left as they were, didn't even bother to lift them up and wipe the side table. > Restaurant - one of the worst meals ever! Ambience is like a cheap local pub in a a run down area! > You get better breakfast in a cheap B&Bs / lodges. Hashrowns and beans were cold! Restaurant was full but the staff don't even bother to show you where to sit and ask you to wait - just go and get yourself seated if you are lucky enough to get one! > Long queue at the checkout in the morning, when I was getting late for work! Staff wasn't even compassionate about that - no apologies or anything for the wait and didn't even bother to ask about my experience / stay!

Hotelli oli hieno, huone siisti ja työntekijät todella ystävällisiä. Sijainti syrjässä keskustasta katsottuna, ajelimme taksilla välimatkat.Hyvä maku jäi kuitenkin.
