"The location & view were everything and we quite satisfied w that. On the flip side these were our observations-*Flower beds sadly overgrown and whole yard needs a good trim. *Brick path to hot tub needs attention, or just removed*Window unit in sunroom completely rusted & unusable. Should be removed before someone gets hurt. *Long hairs inside refrigerator and freezer*Internet connection was unstable so Roku reception was intermittent *Fireplace unit in sunroom interferes with the view and makes the room too crowded. Should be moved or removed since it's all about the view from that room. *Take an UMBRELLA or Canopy so you'll have shade!!! None are provided."

"The cottage was perfect. Close to town and the beach as well as Kiptopeke State Park, where we enjoyed a long morning of hiking. The grocery store was also only minutes away which was perfect for last minute pick-ups.The cottage was clean with a beautiful aesthetic - minimal but with everything you need. My daughter and I had a four day stay (M-F) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our favorite restaurants were The Shanty for great seafood and A.J.s for pub-like cuisine (my daughter raved about the honey chicken).The Cape Charles beach was PERFECT for a morning walk and some beach time. We walked through the quaint town and did some shopping, had ice cream at The Brown Dog, and breakfast at The Cape Charles Coffee House (you have to try the French toast).A wonderful last minute getaway to end our summer."

"We had a great family vacation and the house was perfect. Everything we needed to have an enjoyable stress free time. Very clean, The ac was great and comfortable. The showers were hot and good pressure. Beds quite comfortable! The kitchen had all cookware and appliances to make cooking as easy as being home. Would definitely rent this home again in the future!"

"It was a nice big house in a quiet neighborhood that was perfectly located between Kiptopeake state park and cape Charles Main Street.The host was great to work with and very responsive.The tire swing was a big hit with my kid too so that was a nice bonus."

"This was an ideal location! Great views and fabulous sunsets. Our hosts, Jackie and Sam were so friendly and helpful. The unit was very clean and nicely appointed. We had a great 5 days."
