Clean room and friendly staff. Good night sleep

I travel a lot, so I don’t say this lightly: this hotel has some of the friendliest employees I’ve ever met. I came to Sumter to visit my son, who is stationed here, and decided to stay at this hotel. We’re about 20 minutes from Shaw, so if you’re wondering whether it’s worth staying here, the answer is YES. The hotel is very clean, the staff is kind, the area feels safe, and the breakfast is good. I don’t have a single complaint about this place. One example of how they went above and beyond: they have a grill outside, and I asked if I could use it and whether they had a folding table. They said they didn’t have one but would figure something out, because I wanted to barbecue for my son. When we went downstairs around 6 p.m., they had set up a brand‑new table, provided new utensils, and the grill was cleaned and ready for us. That made a huge difference, because we were able to enjoy a great evening with my son and a few of his friends. If you’re planning to visit Sumter, don’t hesitate—book this hotel.

Property was well maintained and beds were comfortable.

Reserved the room months in advance. Reserved a room with 2 beds. Upon arrival there where none available. My brother slept on a roll away bed for 2 nights. Not comfortable at all.

Room was super clean and nice. Convenient location off of 95 and near Santee state park. Only minor complaint is the pool wasn't heated as stated.
