Bit disappointed to be honest...

The heating was broken in the pool so it was freezing. We dipped our toe in and decided we would go to the steam room instead. Unfortunately the floor of the steam room was grim and it didn't smell great. We didn't go in and went back to our room, dry as a bone. (Also, it would have been £2.50 each had we used anything, even though we were staying at the hotel!)
The free wifi didn't reach out so that was also disappointing, and the bed was rock hard. Peeling ceiling paper and a wobbly headboard were also a shame.
The top customer service from the dude behind the bar, and the overall pleasant experience of having a chilled drink in the lounge area of the hotel bar before bed was probably the best bit of the stay.
Breakfast service was a bit of a shambles, but the food was okay. (I think the hotel may be missing strong management, but overall the staff themselves are nice)
We only paid £65 for one night, so what did we expect?
