"Ok hotel "
Hotel was ok. It was fine just for the one night wouldn't stay any longer than that. Bedrooms are far too small you can't move in them. There was some work needed done outside my bedroom door as the wall was breaking. Wouldn't go again

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Harrogate. "
Had a lovely 2 day stay at this hotel in the centre of Harrogate. Lovely big rooms overlooking the parks. Staff very friendly and helpful, comfy beds had no trouble sleeping. Delicious full English breakfast which set us up for the day exploring the sights of Harrogate, didn't need to use car as we were within walking distance of everything and right across the road from Betty's Tea Rooms.

"Brief stay been before"
This is a nice hotel and staff are very friendly. It is the second time we have been there . Only downside on both occasions have noticed that the road hotel is on is quite noisy at night .. also this time tv in next room on wall where we sleep and couple had it on till 1.15 am ! Not hotels fault of course but Not the best nights sleep ! . Food looks very good but haven't eaten there. Have to pay for car parking £10 overnight which I think is abit of a cheek considering carpark in hotel grounds ! Receptionist on check out didn't ask when we left if we had had a nice stay think that's a shame ...

"First class accommodation."
What can I say, didn't know what to expect. But was pleasantly surprised, all the staff go out of their way to make your stay a happy one. A dog friendly hotel I was expecting the rooms to smell of dogs but they are spotless, beds made up every morning and clean towels in the room daily. Breakfast is fantastic and even a small plate with sausage on for the dog. The surrounding area is a walkers paradise, with Malham Cove only a mile up the road on a well maintained walkway that you could even do it in trainers.

"Nice last minute booking."
The hotel was great, but it's on a main road so no private parking. There was an amble variety for breakfast which we paid extra for and it was worth it.

Pocket Guide: Pet Friendly Hotel in North Yorkshire

The site of numerous National Parks, welcoming rural villages and historic cities, North Yorkshire thoroughly deserves its reputation as one of England's prize holiday destinations. There's plenty to see and do around the county but by far one of the foremost attractions is the abundance of picturesque walking routes, with something to suit walkers of all abilities. For those with pets, no holiday feels quite right if you have to leave them at home. Fortunately, there are plenty of pet-friendly hotels in North Yorkshire.

    Proximity to Walking Routes

As England's largest county, North Yorkshire has plenty of space to stretch your legs. Favourite destinations are the famous Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Park. If you're keen to take Fido out on the Yorkshire hills, there are plenty of pet-friendly hotels in these parts to welcome you.

The Royal Oak in Settle is a stylish country inn located on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Not only does the inn welcome dogs, it also features a fantastic restaurant and has some meeting rooms, great for professional guests.

    Space to Exercise

With more than 40% of its land given over to National Parks, visitors have a huge choice of walks. On the days you choose to check out some local attractions rather than stretching your legs, though, you'll need some other way of wearing out your beloved dog. This is why it can pay to pick a hotel with plenty of outside space, meaning your dog can get her exercise on the hotel grounds.

The Royal Oak Inn in York has a spacious garden, great for wearing out your dog. There's also free WiFi, making it easy to plan each day's events.

    Impressive Accommodation

Pet owners don't need to compromise on the quality of their accommodation just to bring the dog along for the ride. Pet-friendly hotels in North Yorkshire offer the same levels of comfort as anywhere else.

The Chiltern Guesthouse in Whitby is a great example of the standard on offer from pet-friendly hotels in North Yorkshire. The four-star guesthouse boasts comfy family rooms, a tasty breakfast and close proximity to one of the county's nicest beaches.
