Very friendly clean and tidy hotel.

Very welcoming and friendly owner of the hotel. We had a double room that was clean and tidy, although not the biggest of rooms. Also a good traditional English breakfast, although cereals etc... We're also available. We would certainly visit again.

Lovely position

Posted 05-Sep-2016
Lovely clean, comfortable hotel in an ideal location close to the beach. Beautifully cooked breakfast - excellent selection on offer. Room spotlessly clean, downside is there is only a hand held shower over the bath which was difficult to regulate the temperature. As we only had one night stay it didn't worry us too much but would maybe be a little trying for a longer stay. Would defiantly stay at Norlands Hotel again.

Good location near peaseholme park.

Clean bed and breakfast. Excellent cooked breakfast. Good for parking, close to the beach and peaseholme park. In walking distance to the new swimming pool. Would recommend this accommodation. It's not the most modern or up to date decor but it's clean.

My stay at Norlands Hotel

Posted 11-Aug-2016
I stayed at Norlands hotel for one night on the 5th August. I stayed in a room with a,single bed, the room was clean and just the right size for one person. The breakfast was good with choice of fruit, cereals and cooked breakfast. If you are going to the open air theatre this is the hotel to stay at, as it is about five minutes walk.

Pros: comfortable beds
Cons: very laud when people walk in upper room, because of wooden floor
In generally it is a nice hotel with free parking in front of it on the street

A nice hotel close to the open air theatre.

Posted 03-Jul-2016
Pros: Breakfast. The room was pleasant and the food was lovely.
Cons: It was a bit dated but typical of seaside B&Bs
Location: Well placed for Scarboroughs North Bay, railway and park. Excellent if you are attending a concert at the open air theatre.
We booked 2 nights as we were going to a Will Young concert at Scarborough open air theatre. The hotel is ideally placed as it is just a short walk away. On street parking wasn't a problem. I was travelling with my sister and we had a twin room. The beds were comfy and the room was clean but a little dated. The ensuite was snug but clean. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice of hot food and cereals etc. I liked that you could make your own toast as it meant it was hot. The owners were polite and well organised. We used the bar on the first night. It was a pleasant place to sit and the drinks were very reasonably priced. I would certainly book again if I was in Scarborough for a couple of nights. It's not a 4 star hotel but it is a very comfortable , clean seaside B&B that serves a lovely breakfast.

This was a nice hotel which had a lovely sea view. It was situated in a quiet location but within walking distance to all the amenities.
