The Hotel is quite nice but what a steep driveway!!!! Food nice. Room nice But could hear other people through wall - a bit disturbing when trying to sleep

A nice hotel close to the open air theatre.

Pros: Breakfast. The room was pleasant and the food was lovely.
Cons: It was a bit dated but typical of seaside B&Bs
Location: Well placed for Scarboroughs North Bay, railway and park. Excellent if you are attending a concert at the open air theatre.
We booked 2 nights as we were going to a Will Young concert at Scarborough open air theatre. The hotel is ideally placed as it is just a short walk away. On street parking wasn't a problem. I was travelling with my sister and we had a twin room. The beds were comfy and the room was clean but a little dated. The ensuite was snug but clean. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice of hot food and cereals etc. I liked that you could make your own toast as it meant it was hot. The owners were polite and well organised. We used the bar on the first night. It was a pleasant place to sit and the drinks were very reasonably priced. I would certainly book again if I was in Scarborough for a couple of nights. It's not a 4 star hotel but it is a very comfortable , clean seaside B&B that serves a lovely breakfast.

This was a nice hotel which had a lovely sea view. It was situated in a quiet location but within walking distance to all the amenities.

Stayed for cycling event.

Posted 02-May-2016
Stayed for one night ahead of cycling event. Family came too and the family room was large, basic in terms of furnishing but perfectly comfortable. Owner was very friendly, went out his way to start breakfast early so that cyclists could eat ahead of start times. Location seemed good, quiet and reasonably handy for things.

Brilliant stay. lovely room, small touches (kids mat in the room, teddy on the bed, nightlight etc) great host. the only criticism I could possibly comment is that the egg at breakfast was under done to my taste

Amazing hosts, they really did everything for me to feel comfortable which wasn't easy since I came to Scarborough to work night shifts and needed sleep on day time. Thank you so much!
