Beachside home from home

Posted 11-Aug-2016
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendliness...and sloping ceiling!
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Close to the sea life centre, the spa, shops, beach, etc, although we were only there for a concert at the open air theatre.
We were in Scarborough for a concert and needed a bed for the night at a reasonable price. We booked online but were delighted with our choice! It was spotlessly clean, cosy and welcoming...overlooking the sea, and within walking distance to the open air theatre and the town centre. We had a room on the top floor, and I particularly liked the sloping ceiling! We left after our excellent cooked breakfast the next day, but would have been happy to stay longer...or return when next in the town.

Nice location. bery basic room.

Posted 10-Aug-2016
Saw staff to quickly get room key and sort out parking. (Other half waiting in car on double yellows). Didn't see anyone when we got back after finding an on street parking spot. Basic double room booked- very basic and small- clean though! Bed head next to door so could hear any one who passed- floors very squeaky. Was warm during night- had to wedge the window to stay open. We left before breakfast so can't comment about that.

Posted 23-Jul-2016
Pros: Location, cleanliness, good food, friendly and efficient owners.
Location: Close to Castle, both north bays and south bays within walking distance, though be prepared for a lot of steep paths
Comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast, excellent location with superb views. Parking can be difficult though.

Small but well designed and airy

Posted 08-Jul-2016
Pros: Bright, airy, clean well designed room Fantastic sea view Delicious breakfast
Cons: Better WiFi connection
For a short break this hotel was excellent - small room but wonderfully bright and airy, didn't feel at all claustrophobic - we had en suite sea view and it was the best sea view we've ever had - didn't have that damp feel you sometimes get on the south bay, when we did get wet ( this is scarborough so pretty inevitable) clothes dried surprisingly quickly - good breakfast choice and good quality Only had to mark down as WiFi didn't work much but I think that was due to position Would definitely recommend

Great Stay -Would stay again

Posted 04-May-2016 on Hotels
We had a great stay here and the owners are very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the breakfast was lovely. The room was as expected and again it was very clean. It was on the sea front and you can walk to the castle- we also walked to Cayton bay and it took us 1.5 hours along the Cleveland Way. The only issue is parking- if you need your car a lot there is not much parking or no parking at busy times -so if you get stressed about by this -take the bus or stay somewhere with parking provided.

1 Night Stay

Posted 22-Apr-2016
Pros: B & B in fab location. Parking permit brilliant. Breakfast good.
Cons: Room was small, but made up for with fantastic sea-view.
Location: Scarborough castle well worth a visit - especially for views.
Stayed for 1 night in sea-view double. Room small but spotless and modern. Would definitely return.
