The worst 'stay' of my life. I had been in the UK for a week when I had the misfortune to choose this hotel. I was thrown out on the street after 3 hours and was given no reason. My money was not returned to me and I had nowhere to stay as it was a bank holiday weekend. Hardly the start to my UK adventure that I was expecting. Welcome to Broken Britain.

It is simply untrue to suggest you were "thrown out on the street... and was given no reason". Your partner had, very loudly, in front of our other guests, used extremely unpleasant language and threatened to kill the hotel manager - apparently just because you were unable to park your car in our car park and couldn't see the Minster from your bedroom window. Your behaviour was so appalling that we had to call the police to have you ejected from the building, for the safety of our staff and other guests. You were well aware of why you were asked to leave, and it is very disappointing, but not surprising, to see you suggest otherwise in your review. In 8 years of the hotel being open, you are only the second guest whose behaviour was so disgraceful that you had to be ejected from the building.
