Good location, just 8 mins walking to train station. The room was clean and neat. Staff was very nice. It was a very comfy stay. The only thing I was a bit upset was that the shower was too weak.

It’s one of those hotel experiences that just gets out of the way and let you enjoy where you are. A great free breakfast, easy walking distance to everything you want to see, and particularly convenient because it’s close to the train station when it’s time to go home.

Finding it was easy, great room. 2 beds for me & granddaughter ✅ . WiFi great for 2days then no. Place kept your luggage is bonus.

Friendly service and was able to check in earlier than expected. The hotel was in great condition and well kept, the beds were a bit hard though.

No amenities like slippers, toothpaste tooth brush,robes!! Etc etc, even bottled water Have to pay for amenities. Staffs are not so accomodating/ looks un approachable.

The hotel was in a good location near to the railway station and a short walk into the city. The room was spacious, with a good sized bathroom with a walk in shower. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Lovely location. Very handy for all York attractions. On the negative side, the fitness centre was out of action, the parking was very expensive and the room was too hot.

Another great stay ! Only thing was that it was half term. A lot of unruly kids and parents who weren’t paying attention or were disinterested. NOT hotels fault. I had sympathy for staff who were patient and tolerant. We had a child with us who was well behaved, so not anti children

We booked this as it had a gym, but unfortunately this was closed. We were offered a gym at a sister property, but didn't want to walk in our gym gear in the dark. But would definitely book again

Newly refurbished rooms in good location easily walkable from station and into/around York. Rooms very compact but clean and fresh, with a surprisingly good breakfast. Very good value for money.

Great location near the railway station, shops, museums and plenty of places to eat. Spacious clean quiet room. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception and in the breakfast room. The bed could have been comfier. Would definitely return.

Stayed at Xmas. Was perfect for the city centre. Room was pretty standard for a Hilton, Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Park just down the road at the multi story, literally 5 mins away.

Nice hotel walking distance from rail station and town centre. Decent breakfast, and overall nice staff, although a couple of the receptionists were a bit cold which I could have done without. (If a guest asks for a Do Not Disturb sign, just give it to him. Don't reply coldly that it "should" be in the room Just trust that the guest had the basic intelligence to look for one and didn't find one in his room before asking. In any case, miraculously and to her eventual credit, we were furnished with the requested sign!) Still, overall decent stay, and we'd probably stay again.

Overall very good, first time staying at at Hampton and I can only describe it as very similar to a premier inn but at a higher price. Staff all helpful, room was clean and everything working. Breakfast, was a let down when conpared to a premier inn but I've also had worse. Coffee machine uses powered milk so not the best. Great location and ideal for train station Would stay again at the right price.

Good location, nice friendly staff, however bed rockhard, pillows not good and matress on a solid wooden bed frame keeps moving so corners are exposed and bashes you in the knees
