Return visit
Great location, just off main square of Grassington and parking too. Received watm welcome and room was warm, cosy and clean with the little touches like processo and Christmas candy canes appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and high quality too.

A little gem.
Grassinton is a quaint village in West Yorkshire. The Ashfield House is in the centre of the village and is equally quaint but with all the facilities you would expect to find in upmarket accommodation.

Amazing stay
We had an amazing stay here. The house and gardens are beautiful and in a fantastic location right in the centre of the village, yet so quiet and peaceful. There is a car park, just be warned that access is quite tight if you have a larger car. Our room was small but perfect for us with a king size bed and beautiful ensuite. We found Prosecco in our room on arrival. We had access to a gorgeous lounge room in with an honesty bar where we enjoyed a relaxing evening after sampling some of the local pubs and the very good Indian restaurant. There are also sweets and treats left for guests in the entrance hall which is a lovely touch. Breakfast in the morning was amazing and our hosts were very warm and friendly. On leaving, we were given advice about an alternative, more scenic route to Malham than the one we had intended to take, and the owners were spot on - we just wished the weather hadn’t been so rotten so we had better views - but it was still beautiful nonetheless. A fabulous stay and we would definitely love to return as it was exceptional value for money.

Charming cottage.
Such a charming, sweet cottage. It is located right in the village. Downside is the access to the second bedroom. Steep, steep steps. If it was explained in the description, we missed it. But we still enjoyed our stay. Comfortable living room and kitchen. Quiet. Just difficult access to the second bedroom. Very nice staff person.

Lovely property in beautiful Grassington
Lovely property in the heart of Grassington. Lynn was welcoming and helpful, though a two-hour check-in window seems restrictive. Breakfast was outstanding. Breakfast staff was especially charming.

A friendly and welcoming place to stay
Atmospheric and cosy bed and breakfast, with a good range of pubs, cafes and restaurants in the village. The room was just right for a three night stay, though the softish bed doesn’t suit everyone, and our room was a bit on the small side. One small suggestion - fresh fruit at breakfast perhaps? Other than that, a terrific place to stay for a break in the Dales

Excellent 5* B&B with Lynne and her lovely team. Made to feel at home straight away and extremely relaxed. Superb breakfast and friendly service. Fantastic location with amazing walks on the doorstep. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for a future break!!

The property was centrally located for the village square but set back enough to be quiet in the evening, the garden was beautiful and highly maintained. The breakfasts were exceptionally good with quality products used. Parking and manovering was a bit tricky but overall an excellent stay .

Ashfield House was excellent from start to finish. Very welcoming hosts, really comfortable room and probably as good a breakfast as you could have (or want)! Highly recommended.

Host’s were brilliant couldn’t do enough for you, breakfast was far too much but we managed to eat it all. The back garden area was a bonus, large and spacious luckily the sun was out, the only downside we had was the bedroom (number 7) with it being an old building the floors were very squeaky. We would stay there again but ask for a different room.

Perfect Yorkshire Bed & Breakfast
Lovely stay in an even lovelier setting. Conveniently located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We arrived not knowing that this little village was used as the setting of the current “All Creatures Great and Small” television series but we can see why the producers selected the location. As for the B&B, the room had the most comfortable bed we had ever experienced, a modern bathroom, and two of the friendliest hosts you will ever meet. My wife always had their full Yorkshire breakfast while I generally went the more continental route of croissants and pastry and both were excellent! Upon request, they even made me a custom breakfast of French Toast, something nowhere on their menu. You couldn’t find better hosts!

This place is a hidden gem. It’s a beautiful hotel, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Location is great. We stayed in the Garden suite which has its own entrance and breakfast can be served to your room. It’s our second visit but I’m sure it won’t be our last

This was a last minute booking and I had never been before but what a lovely gem of a place. Very welcoming owners, lovely comfortable well looked after rooms and one of the best cooked breakfasts I’ve had in a long time (and I work away quite a bit). Highly recommended and I will certainly be back.

Every aspect of this stay was perfect, the friendly welcome by the manageress, the comfort of our room with a wonderfully comfortable bed and a superlative breakfast. Grassington is a wonderful spot to stay in with direct access to great walks.

Beautiful location and hotel with friendly hosts who go the extra mile with little touches such as freshly baked pastries and complimentary tea and coffee on arrival and advice on local area if you need it. Wonderful breakfast . Would return in a heartbeat

Very deceiving disappointing stay.
This property is advertised as a five star hotel. Which is very wrong. Free WiFi it says no wifi at all for two days . We were completely cut off from the world for two nights. Power failure due to leaking water. Never seen a toilet flush like this very loud noise. It is a B&B owned by an individual who does everything cooking serving breakfast looking after the administrative work. No facilities what so ever you find in a 5* Hotel. We were completely misled very disappointed. We expected a swimming pool bar restaurant ect like any 5* hotel. For two nights I paid £268/-. It is a Ripoff. I demand a full refund.

Great stay in Grassington
Beautiful cottage type small hotel (I think 8 rooms). Gardens really nicely kept, very peaceful place, spotlessly clean, our room was slightly on the small size but very comfortable. Great breakfast, help yourself cakes etc in reception. Very friendly staff. Parking a little tight. Right in the centre of the village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again.
