"Basic but very clean accommodation with everything you need. No WiFi in rooms and the big gig in the bar on Friday night is noisy and unexpected! Communal areas a bonus shared with backpackers lodge. My only issue with the room was not being able to open a windows for fresh air so had to have the air-conditioning on. Good overall and value for the area "

"We got one of the small rooms because we didn’t need much. It was kind of like staying in a dorm room (size) but was very comfortable and had all we needed. The property itself was absolutely excellent. The amenities were too many to list. The staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We only had 2 niggles. 1. Could not get free to air TV working, it looked like the remote was not working. The other remote for Foxtel was ok. 2. No plug in the bathroom sink, more difficult for wet shavers. Whalers restaurant on site was superb!"

"Our room was perfect - spacious, comfortable and overlooking the beach. The pool was nice with plenty of beds. The hotel is in a residential area, so it's nice and quiet but a couple of kilometres into town. The only downside was that we caught the early morning flight from Perth, so arrived at the hotel around 10am and had to wait in reception for 4 hours until our room was ready. I understand check in isn't until 2pm but no attempt was made to adjust the cleaning schedule to allow our room to be available a little earlier."
