Great level of hospitality!

Posted 09-Feb-2016
Pros: This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in the UK in a long time. Staff were very friendly and professional. Great level of hospitality.
Cons: Fresher paint on the walls, unless they want it to look like "shabby chic"...
Location: Great location to go to Bangor and discover Snowdonia. Great for outdoor activities.
We warned we would check in late i.e. around midnight. We received very warm, smiley and professional welcome as if we had arrived at old friends' house. Each bedroom is apparently named after a Welsh castle, which is a good idea. Although the hotel looks massive, it still felt nicely warm and cosy wherever we were. Impressive heating system obviously! Very good wi-fi connection in all parts and bedroom. The room was large with a great king size bed, with very nice bed linen. Shame that a couple of pillow cases had a few subtle black stains (possibly hard to remove but these should not been put on the pillow). Otherwise quality of bed linen, towels and bathrobes was impeccable. Our room had a small balcony view onto the river was a real delight, the bathroom was massive and very well equipped. Food served at breakfast was delicious, cooked fresh and generously served. We did not have time to enjoy the indoor swimming pool, but it looked amazing and was apparently very popular. We shall definitely return!! Our experience in North Wales (even if only 2 days) felt like a mini holiday.

Comfortable quiet hotel with great facilities

Posted 26-Jan-2016
Seiont Manor Hotel is in a quiet, picturesque location which is easy to find and is only about a 20-30 minute drive to most major sights/attractions nearby. The facilities in our room were clean, the room size was considerable and the balcony overlooking a stream was a bonus! The breakfast included in our room rate offered a nice selection of continental food, and dinner in the restaurant was pleasant.

A fab hotel, highly recommended!

Pros: The location and atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service.
Location: Nearby is the beautiful town of Caernarfon where the castle is a must see. We also visited Harlech, Criccieth and Conwy.
I stayed at Seiont Manor with my mum on a short trip to North Wales. It was situated in a very peaceful area, about 10mins (by car) from Caernarfon. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room spacious and comfortable and food excellent. The small pool and sauna was a lovely addition, especially nice to relax in after a long day exploring the local countryside and heritage attractions. The breakfast included a full continental buffet, with the option of hot food cooked to order. You also a the choice of two restaurants for evening meals. We ate in the bar area on two nights as the atmosphere was a bit more relaxed and food not quite so pricey.

We didn't want to leave!!

Posted 20-Oct-2015 on Hotels
We loved every second of our stay and could of cried on our way home because we didn't want to leave! Our room was massive and immaculate, the bed was huge and soo comfy! Every member of staff we met were incredible, especially helen and the manager in the bar. We got treated like royalty, the breakfast was incredible and the location is spot on. They even have room service twice a day! Amazing! We can't wait to come back. Thank you.

Go now and enjoy real comfort and hospitality

This is without question the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. The service, food and staff were superb, friendly and attentive. The towels were plush, plump, thick and wonderful, the food (bar meals or fine dining in the restuarant, was fantastic and not overpriced. The grounds are beautifully kept with magniifcent views, and the area was wonderfully quiet (for example, no piped music in the bars or restuarants - bliss!). Ample parking, fantastic indoor pool, great lounges (a choice of 3), with big comfy sofas and armchairs. All-in-all, simply the best.

Nice hotel but avoid the restaurant

Posted 07-Oct-2015 on Hotels
The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, and while not your traditional "manor house" the building is nice. The rooms are large and well appointed and the beds are comfortable. My biggest disappointment was the bar restaurant (food and service).

Exquisite stay

Posted 01-Oct-2015 on Hotels
A last minute booking for a Classic room, we stayed in room 20 which would easily pass for an executive in any town hotel. Room was superb, well furnished with a good sized double wardrobe nice furniture and king bed, very clean, good bathroom and shower. Food and service was excellent for dinner and breakfast. Would highly recommend and we're planning to stay again for our next visit to Snowdon which was less than a 10 minute drive away.
