"Staff and overall hotel was spotless. Staff very helpful. The only issue we had was the no guarantee of a table by the restaurant. I think that could be presented better. Overall a lovely location to "chill out"."

"Two of the bedrooms were too small & using the sofa bed in the lounge for 2 people would be unrealistic from a space point of view.The view from the balconies is wonderful. (There should be some ceramic hob cleaner provided)We didn’t love the huge sofa and all the scatter cushions"

"A superb house. We had a multi-generational holiday and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Bedrooms on lower and upper floors meant we all had our own space and the baby could cry without fear of disturbing everyone's sleep. The middle floor comprises of an open - plan communal space, with a couple of separate rooms at the front for those that wish to watch telly in peace. The fish & chip van parks outside on a Saturday night which is incredibly convenient considering they are up there as some of the best we've ever eaten.Communication was good & clear. Check in was easy and it's handy having off street parking for 2-3 cars. We got a Waitrose delivery to deliver on our check-in day, and there's plenty of storage & cooking space.Yes, as other reviews mention, there is a hill to get into town. But, that's Salcombe overall. That's not specific to this house. If you stay in a house in Salcombe, you will be encountering a hill. Just know that fresh crab and a glass of white wine awaits you at the bottom of the hill and you'll be skipping down."

"A fab property in Salcombe. Well equipped kitchen and laundry room. A comfy lounge, great dining table with plenty of chairs. Every bedroom had great beds and nice linen. We had a great time and hope to return sometime. A great location for a 15 min walk into town, but be prepared for the hill on the way back! 😂 We had a fab weekend and loved it. "
