"Room and building were clean. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, some were not. The tub couldn’t be used for a bath. Shower got way too hot. There was broken glass in the parking lot. We informed front desk in the evening but it was not taken care of until the following morning. The breakfast was a nice selection but the coffee was full of coffee grounds. The lady was apologetic. The coffee was improved the next day, but still had a lot of coffee grounds. Room was nice sized, had a microwave and fridge and was clean and fairly comfortable. Hotel is in a convenient location with food and shopping nearby. "

"The staff when I check in was friendly and helpful. The issue I had was in the room. There were four separate lights in the room besides the overhead light by the bathroom. Three of four lights were burnt out. Room is decorated with dark colors to begin with. Went to the front desk and was told that they didn't have any light bulbs at all. Tried the TV next and the TV while turning on did not have a signal. Went to the front desk again, The person there did come back to the room and after messing around and trying several things figured out what was wrong and got the TV to work, The front desk person also found 2 light bulbs so I ended up with three of the 4 lights working. After the 1st day we found that the cleaning staff had taken our used towels and did not replace them at all. On day 2 they did replace what we had used including the towels from Day 1. Finally we discovered that the piece of furniture that had the TV, Microwave and Refrigerator was being supported by an actual screw jack from a car, The legs of the unit did not actual touch the ground. Someone somehow this piece of furniture was broken and they rigged this solution vs replacing what was a piece of junk with something not broken. The door frames were rusting and the wife found bugs crawling on the bed. This property is suffering from a great deal of defer maintenance and is showing its age. The owner's are not willing to spend the money necessary to keep it nice."

"This is a very cute little house. The neighborhood was very peaceful at night and the view of the woods across the street made it feel secluded, even though you are in Winona Lake. I would definitely recommend to anyone!"

"Breakfast was very good, great variety. My only complaint is about the coffee machine, it takes to long for a cup to be made and a line backs up, especially if; like me, you’re getting a cup for more than yourself. I liked the pump thermos better."
