A great experience for one that partakes in many activities. The numerous amenities can keep you busy for the whole day and there is always a lovely bed to welcome you for the night. If you are a scuba diver, then your mornings are dealt with as the dive centre at Bandos is fabulous and every morning there are boat dives (2). Beach is well kept and a pleasant reef for snorkelers to enjoy. Coral life is nothing special, but some of the fish life is incredible on the house reef (I saw an eagle ray on my second dive of the house reef). The club has several facilities including an orderly and fucntioning gym. In the centre of the club vicinity is a table tennis table and a foosball table. Another inclusion in the club is an Xbox 360 and a snooker table. The buffet is lavish with a four course meal for lunch and dinner. There is even a swimming pool on this island!

While the Maldives is not the easiest place to get to, once you are there the entire trip is worthwhile. The island for this resort is kept in an outstanding condition, the food if of a high quality and quite varied while the accommodations [especially the over-water bungalows] are clean, modern and well equipped. Overall the staff are friendly, efficient and always there when you want/need them. The amenities are first rate and it takes at least a week to experience them all. The only downside is having to leave after only one week.

Everything they say is true....absolutely the most fantastic hotel we've stayed at. We were here for 5 days. My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed is Crusoe Residence, which is an over water villa. It had a separate bedroom with king size bed,and the living room had 2 day beds that comfortably slept our tall teenage boys. Both the bedroom and living room has air conditioning. The resort was fantastic and the good was outstanding. We got the half board package (breakfast and dinner included) and found it to be perfect for us -- big breakfast (buffet), skip lunch, then a nice dinner. Your stay at the resort can be as relaxing or adventurous as you'd like. There was plenty of activities if that's what you want - scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, parasailing, sailing, tubing, sushi making, garden demonstration, yoga, spa, fitness room, bikes, etc. And a nice hammock outsude your villa if that's all you want to do! The service was amazing - every detail was anticipated and efficiently handled. Water equipment was in outstanding condition and all the boats were immaculately maintained. The resort has a "no shoes" policy, so literally we didn't wear shoes all week -- not for dinner or anywhere! You can if you want to, but it was so liberating to spend all day without shoes.

It was really cool to be able to watch the stingrays pass-by from your room and to be able to go snorkeling right from your room.
The candle-light dinner by the beach was an amazing experience.
We started by doing the "All Inclusive" plan the first day but quickly realized that the regular meal option worked way better for us.

Our flight arrived late at night, but the staff waited for us and provided us with a free speedboat transfer. This was good as it meant we didn't have to spend a night a Male and transfer to the island the next day.
The island is small but beatiful. Snorkelling is great and the marine life is amazing. Good options for activities, and food is good too.
Overall a very good experience.
This region is home to the national capital Male, the international airport, and a high concentration of resorts. The good news is that the pace, serenity, and low key development of the islands is intact.
