I've stayed here twice now - rooms are quiet, spacious and comfortable, and breakfast is excellent. Easy walk from the train station.

Great hotel but beware stairs and remote parking
Chose hotel because of parking and lift as we currently have limited walking mobility. However, reception is up a flight of stairs to entrance, and car parking is 300m away, fine if fit but not if you have walking problems or heavy luggage. Best to park outside (2 hours max), check in, leave luggage and go park up.

Great visit to Kingston Theatre Hotel
Second stay in this lovely cozy Victorian hotel. Situated on charming Regency style square close to city centre and old town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast. Comfortable room with good shower. Can’t fault it.

A weekend in Hull
The hotel is very nice and well located in Hull. We had a little trouble with the locking mechanism on our door and when it couldn’t be fixed we were quickly upgraded. Breakfast was lovely and service was excellent.

Comfortable and clean, reasonably quiet. Helpful staff. Blinds in the bathroom didnt work, needed 2 hands to turn the taps on and off. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom or hang up towels after use. Lovely shower, good wifi. Very good breakfast in a rather beautiful room. Would absolutely stay there again!

Best thing about this hotel is the neighbourhood is quiet, but the worst is the hotel restaurant. My polite recommendation is eat out.

A hidden gem of a hotel.
A great hotel , we were up graded to a suite, with a sofa, fridge and bath robes with plenty of room for my shopping bags. Parking is free and off site just round the corner, breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. We walked into town about a 10 min walk also same distance to the casino just to round off our anniversary stay. The hotel is in an area next to the theater so very quiet which was great when walking back late from the casino . A lovely hotel i will use again.

Very helpful and attentive Staff at Check In and Breakfast Food was great at Breakfast Stayed in one of the Suites which was really roomy and comfortable- but of an issue with the Shower which Icam sure is easily fixable and didn’t take away from the enjoyment

Pleasant location on quiet square in the centre of Hull, within walking distance of shops and Ferens Art Gallery. Clean, well-maintained hotel. Very comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff. We would be happy to return.

Genuine quality friendly hotel
Very friendly and comfortable hotel The atmosphere was warm and the whole place was immaculate Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom was absolutely immaculate and sparkling clean The bed was warm and sheets were lovely but the mattress was a bit soft for us so we rolled into centre when we turned over The breakfast was first class. The buffet was all top quality and the cooked English breakfast was all freshly cooked and the scrambled eggs superb. Not a modern flashy hotel but a solid genuine lovely place to stay and the bar was open late which was great after a night out

Little Gem
This hotel is a little gem, we stayed one night in an executive king room which was spacious, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. There where lots of special touches such as dressing gowns, slippers and pillow spray! Breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. Would definitely recommend and happily stay there again.

More atmosphere and personal welcome than a chain
Nice private hotel in a quiet area of the city centre. Nice and warm, comfy beds, friendly staff and great breakfast. A nice touch was a little pillow spray to help you sleep. Would stay here again rather than a chain.

The hotel was beautiful. A lot of old grandeur. The front reception staff were excellent. The night we arrived our shower temperature would not regulate and the young lady at reception took care of everything, she was the epitome of professionalism and at such a late hour.

A lovely old hotel
A lovely old hotel with really nice attentive staff, I only stayed one night but would happily stay here again if in the area. The only downside is the fact the hotel has a lot of steps so maybe not ideal for those with mobility issues.

I chose this hotel because it clearly stated there the rooms have air conditioning. The rooms did not have air conditioning and my room was 32 degrees, dropping to 25 degrees in the night. I did not sleep at all and just sat up all night. I booked these two rooms and I was the first to arrive by 2 hours. We were given the tiniest box room but my colleague (who did not make the booking) was given a luxury suite..! Nobody was interested when I raised both of these points.

Absolutely amazing!!!
This was our first visit for an event at the bonus arena. We booked and execitive suite which was a little more expensive but worth it as it was very private and had everything you would need. The room was beautiful, the bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Only a short walk to the town centre so no need to pay for taxis everywhere and so many shops, restaurants etc within a few minutes walking distance. The prices at the hotel bar were fairly steep but again, being so close to town, theres no need to pay those prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful, providing maps so we could find our way to the town centre. The parking was a bit of a let down as the spaces outside the hotel were only free from 6pm to 9am, outside these hours its roughly £2 per hour. The hotel did offer a permit for free parking elsewhere but this was out of sight of the hotel and we didnt want to take the risk of leaving it somewhere else. Our stay was so enjoyable we didnt care about the parking. We will definitely be returning here in the future.

Great hotel in Hull
What a find, loved this hotel. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Nice big room in the new part of the hotel, plus huge bathroom with a bath 👍 and a shower. Had an evening meal in hotel which was really tasty, and good value, plus nice size portions. Breakfast had a good choice too. Seemed a popular hotel for groups celebrating something, but no noise on a night. Definitely recommend this hotel, no wonder it was popular.

Staff was lovely the room was spotless and decorated lovely the bed was so comfortable slept really well. Breakfast was lovely served quick and hot. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Parking was no problem we paid at the meter but was offered free parking pass at reception
