My grandson and I had a mini vacation at Virginia Beach. We both loved our stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend to friends and plan to stay at this hotel next beach vacation.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is well kept but you can tell it is older. The view out the back rooms is Chesapeake Bay. Break has a very good variety of cold and hot foods. It is close to Norfolk Naval station (Many families were there for ship homecomings). It is family friendly.

The hotel had a sparsely equipped exercise area That was not worth the space. The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. I found the shower to have filth around the door. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast but closed to early for breakfast. The barmaid had no personality and was more interested in her computer games on her tablet than interacting with her patrons. Dinner was a bit pricey for the quality also. I will probably try someplace different next time. Access from the road was horrible and poorly marked.

I was visiting Norfolk overnight to attend a concert and selected this hotel based on the location. I must say I have never stayed at a nicer place! From the moment I arrived until the moment I departed the staff went above and beyond what would be expected of them. The hotel was located perfectly with many places to eat and tour. The rooms were some of the cleanest and in the best condition I have ever experienced. The hotel was secure and located on the edge of Old Dominion University. The restaurant located on the first floor was wonderful as well. The staff was friendly and the food (what I ate) was out of this world.
When returning to Norfolk this will be the only hotel I see as being an option.
Virginia’s second-largest city, Norfolk, is the cultural and business center of the Hampton Roads region in southeastern Virginia. The city is known for its distinct neighborhoods, water-centric culture, and the strong presence of the US Navy—the Norfolk Naval Base is one of the world’s largest. America’s Historic Triangle—Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown—is within an hour’s drive.
