Charming, cozy hotel with character. The Kong Carl is conveniently located near the Sandefjord town center, an easy walk from the train station. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The room was as described, complete with mini-fridge and hot water kettle, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel have old-world charm and character. The hotel restaurant is convenient and delicious, with a well-stocked breakfast buffet and superb dinner menu. Walking distance to tasty coffee shops, the Hvaltorvet shopping mall, and the waterfront, among other things. A lovely stay—tusen takk!

Great hotel to use for flying in and out of Oslo Torp. 5 minutes from buses to the airport and to Oslo. Great 3 bed room. Welcoming staff on reception - saw the same lady both times we stayed and she was friendly and informative- offering information about the evening meal and a menu in English. Really appreciated the meal options for the evening- freshly made and tasty. Great buffet breakfast with lots of options. Overall a great airport hotel.

This is a great place to stay for walks in the surrounding hills, with some great views. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and I think I ate too much as it was so food. The lounge area is quiet and very homely, nice to sit with a cup of coffee & read. The lady manager was very kind and helpful ...
