Nordegg Timber Estate – Luxury Log Home Retreat

Nordegg Timber Estate – Luxury Log Home Retreat

10/10 Excellent
"Our group of seven fit comfortably in this beautiful property. The common areas were spacious, the bedrooms were well laid out, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay was provided. The home itself is gorgeous inside and out, and stocked with thoughtful essentials—plenty of cooking supplies, firewood, soaps and lotions, and separate towels for regular use and for the hot tub.Instructions for the house were clear and easy to follow, and the host communication was exceptional. Justin’s responsiveness truly stood out; he always made sure I had the information I needed and went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome. He also shared helpful recommendations for local activities, which we appreciated.I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again. It’s easy to find, incredibly comfortable, and made our trip feel special from start to finish."

"Lovely cabin in tranquil surroundings. Interesting local village with great cafe offering amazing selection of pies. We used it as a base for exploring Banff National Park. A bit of a drive but it's a beautiful road so we didn't mind the extra kilometres each day."

"Exceptionally clean and quiet. Great home base to explore the area from. Lots of walking trails starting right from the site as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the mattress was sacked out otherwise the place was wonderful. We will be going back."

Modern Rustic A-Frame Cabin with Barrel Sauna

Modern Rustic A-Frame Cabin with Barrel Sauna

10/10 Excellent
"I've stayed in many short term rentals and this was a top tier experience. Firstly, the cabin was spotlessly clean. Not a speck of dust or dirt. The cabin was even better than the photos showed. The location is also lovely - perfectly nestled in a lush forest close to amazing hikes and trails. Secondly, the hosts have thought of every detail. They had bear spray (we forgot to bring our own), multiple coffee machines (if you prefer lattes vs. drip), board games, a fully stocked kitchen (multiple types of oil, spices etc.), high end bath products, and a crib with an actual crib sheet for our baby (most hotels just fold an adult sheet which isn't sleep safe). I want to keep this gem hidden to myself but everyone deserves a stay here. Do keep in mind that Nordegg is quite remote, there's a corner store but it's expensive so try to pack out everything you need!"
