Wonderful placement overlooking Noosa. Fantastic breakfast, great happy hour (1.5 hours!) and wonderful dinner. The night we ate there, there was a thunderstorm and we were provided with blankets and gas heaters, in the restaurant. I have never been so well looked after!
We booked this one on look but mainly price, also knowing we had a car to use. There were good covered parking facilities.
The pool was a bit cool, but it was September, which is still winter / spring. But it didn't put off the kids there who were fine with it. The layout of the place was good.
The property was apparently going through a sale and the bar and restaurant was closed for two weeks. This was disappointing as there are limited (but a couple of acceptable Thai and Japanese) options to eat out nearby, and there is no liquor store in walking distance either. There is an Aldi Food Market nearby.
We had a single room unit for two with a queen bed. The room / unit was very very spacious. As was the bathroom. Good cooking and utensil facilities, table, couches, TV. I can't fault this. Our room didn't get great sun.
We walked to Noosa it's a couple of K's and also up to Tewantin the next day. We like walking and didn't want parking hassles. Its fine for a couple but I wouldn't make kids walk that far. You can use busses or the water ferry if you get your timing right.
We recently stayed for two nights. The unit was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. It is close to all the restaurants on Gympie Terrace and only a few minutes drive to Noosa. The only problem we had was that the shower leaked water. The managers were very helpful and tried to fix the problem for us. Would recommend to everyone.
, once a quiet cove and now a lively resort, has beaches that range from north-facing Noosa Main Beach, where beginners surf gentle waves, to Alexandria Bay with its blowhole and big waves (accessible only by footpath), to east-facing Sunshine Beach, which extends south for several km towards Coolum Beach. Laguna Lookout, at Noosa National Park, features panoramic views.
