"Ideally positioned in the centre of Amsterdam. The hotel is fairly basic, but clean and the beds are fine. A good buffet breakfast is available in the hotel and there are plenty of restaurants nearby for other meals. I left a piece of clothing hanging in the wardrobe, not realising until I returned to the UK. I phoned reception and the staff were very helpful in organising its speedy return."

Thanks to the proximity to the tram, we were able to manage getting around a bit and we still made the most of our limited stay. From the front desk staff to the servers and the people working in the hotel bar, each and every person was kind and helpful. Excellent."

"We were put in a room in an adjacent building. It’s like walking thru a long maze to find it. This is from someone who has stayed at the hotel many times. We were told the hotel offers a taxi to central station for €25. They charged €35 only to be left on the wrong side of the station."

"No ac we could detect. Needed window open to sleep. Street noise is very loud from drunks shouting and fighting. We were kept waiting 75 minutes past check in time for house keeping to have our room ready. No compensation offered except a water or a candy bar. "
