I was struck by the architecture, the tranquil ambience, the zen feel, and the laid-back style of the resort. The bamboo architecture of the resort was stunning and impressive,it was really beautiful. Since it was newly opened, there were not many guests and you could have the pool all to yourself at certain time of the day. The staff were all friendly, and they always greeted you when they met you. We tried the spa and the restaurants of the resort and the standards were high. The concierge staff were especially helpful and offered wonderful tips as to where to eat, as a result of which we had some excellent fresh seafood at local ( clean ) restaurants and excellent Vietnamese food of high quality. I enjoyed simply walking around the resort and spending time on the beach because everywhere was so quiet. The resort is on the beach but not near the popular part of the beach, so if you want to have dinner in town, you have to take the daily shuttle provided by the resort or take the taxi. The resort also offered shuttle service to Hoi An. All in all, Naman has succeeded to offer guests beautiful architecture, comfortable service, and bliss !
Spent 6 nights with family and it was great vacation. Access to clean and pristine beach along with two separate pools provides everything you would need for relaxing time in the sun. The hotel grounds are immaculately maintained and the staff is extremely polite and courteous.
We stayed in the 3 bedroom pool villa and generally we had a great stay. Villa was big and had all the amenities. The pool although small was great for the kids. Food and drinks was good and price seems reasonable for a 5 star resort. Overall I feel it was good value for money and great for a family or friends gathering. Taxi can be called and they will drive to your villa directly and there is a free shuttle to Hoi An one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
The master bedroom we stayed at was nice and big with a separate shower and toilet area (pretty small compared with the room and hard to close the toilet door when you are inside). Would be a good idea to have the shower gel and shampoo in the shower area instead of on the dressing table, also the 110 voltage next to the dressing table was for insufficient for the hair dryer but these are minor issue.
To the management, please get rid of the list of price item (or at least reduce the no of item to only include those that are of value) which guest had to pay if found damaged or lost. No Guest would spend half an hour check each of the items once the arrive at the villa. We could not find a bag holder to the toiletries and they charged 100,000VN dong. We had our umbrella taken by other guest and another 300,000VN dong.
This strip of beach is under progressive development with new resorts. I understand the VinPearl is 2 - 3 years old. Facilities are quite nice / modern, overall very peaceful / relaxing, and they have a friendly staff you would expect in SE Asia. The location is great - in between Da Nang and Hoi An, about 20 minutes from the airport, and on a wonderful strip of uncrowded beach. Transportation is convenient to various sights, but while you're at the resort, you are away from all hustle & bustle. Kids club room was very helpful. The pools were really nice. The villas are GIGANTIC - we appreciated all the space. Those are the major positives.
Improvement areas: 1) Because it's a newer construction, there were various minor maintenance issues during our stay. They were all promptly repaired, but still an annoyance. 2) The buffet got tiresome quickly; there's a lot of selection, but it doesn't change much day-to-day. It's not as fresh / flavorful as true local Vietnamese food. After 2 weeks, we had enough. 3) They don't want you bringing outside food to the resort, and it was also hard to find local stores with food worth smuggling in. Of course, if you don't eat from the buffet, food is expensive there.
With 5 km of white sand stretching southeast of downtown Da Nang, Non Nuoc Beach provides a largely undeveloped coastline for surfing or lounging by the sea. Explorers can visit the Marble Mountains, limestone outcroppings rising near the beach that offer a network of caves, historic Buddhist sanctuaries, and striking views over the city and the South China Sea.
