"Great hotel at a good price "
Thoroughly enjoyed my 4 nights there. From the moment I walked in the concierge was helpful. Without asking, he gave me map of where the major sites were located and explained how to get around using the train and bus. Short walk to either. The breakfast was good as well. Mattress could have been a little softer but other than that the room was lovely.

"Nice hotel in Rome"
Stayed at the Coppede for four nights while on a visiting trip in Rome. The hotel is clean and well staffed with courteous people. The Restaurant and cafe next door provide excellent food and beverages nearby with courteous and professional staff. The only problem is the lack of an elevator on the hotel which is ok in my case but which may be a setback for aged and sick couples who have to walk up many flight of stairs . I merely saw it as an joyful exercise.

"Excellent stay"
Service: The host was very friendly. We arrived late to Rome and we appreciated that she checked us in that night. She gave us very helpful information on the sites to visit and transportation options in the area. She responds to emails very quickly. She was never intrusive. Could not ask for a better host Room: Was very clean and spacious with very high ceilings and large sliding doors/windows that takes you to the balcony that unfortunately we were not able to put to use due to heavy rains the days we stayed. Bathroom was a decent size, with a shower and a very large sink. Also came with a hair dryer. Make sure you get an Italian type outlet converter with 3 prongs. European-type 2 prongs DID NOT FIT. Luckily I brought both since I have encountered both types in Italy. The room also had a small fridge, and a large closet with a safe. WiFi was fast and was always working while I was there. Location: Was a bit far from Roma Termini, but luckily Rome has a pretty good mass transit system. We took a taxi since it was the quickest and easiest, but there is also the option of using the Metro train and get off at the Piazza Bologna station which is about 5 minute walk to the hotel, or the bus which drops you off right next to the hotel. The Metro train that runs under Piazza Bologna also takes you straight to the Colosseum. The area around the hotel is very quiet, felt very safe during the day and late night walks we took. Traffic in the street in front is very low

"Perfect Boutique Hotel"
I have been having the best of luck with "Boutique Hotels." Villa Pirandello is no exception. I stayed for 8 days. I absolutely loved my stay. I first thought it may be too far out of the way, but it was not. It was about a ten minute walk from the Bologna metro station, plus you walk past shopping for sundries, cooked take-away food, clothes stores and a few barcarolles. I was warmly welcome from the moment I walked into the hotel. I got to the hotel at about noon, too early for the official check in time. They had no problem with checking me in early, and with a smile. The breakfast was perfect and perfectly Italian. Coffee of your choice is there for the asking. The juices are wonderful mixes. I am now addicted to red orange juice. Also available for breakfast are cereals, sandwich meats, cheeses, croissants, Italian cakes, fresh fruit, yogurt and more that i am forgetting. The room was comfortable. My room was a single and had a shower only, small shower - completely sufficient. All normal toiletries were in the bathroom. This hotel has an incredible staff. Is located in a completely safe area. Is a perfectly walkable distance from the Bologna Metro station. I absolutely would advise anyone to stay at Villa Pirandello.

"Nice hotel"
The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from S.agnese/annibaliano (metro line B), in a nice, quite area. The rooms were clean and comfortable and made for a good base whilst we stayed in Rome. We visited the roof bar one evening, this was a nice place to chill out after a busy day of sightseeing. The staff at the front desk were very nice, helpful and made some great recommendations.

"Beautiful setting"
The staff were very helpful and friendly they gave out maps of the city, metro and directions. They also assisted in printing out boarding pass for flight and booked transportation to the airport. The breakfast buffet had ample choices, cheese, meat, eggs, cereals, breads, juice, coffee, yogurt, fruit so it was very filling and worked for the whole family. I took a cab from the train station that was 5euro, you can take the metro there but it is at least a 10 walk to the hotel wouldn't want to pull my luggage that far. My room did not have good internet which seems to be a problem in Italy (I had the same problem in Florence). Wifi works great in the lobby and common areas but once you close your room door it is spotty. There was a large grocery store two blocks away restaurants were located by the metro entrance which is a bit of a walk so I would eat closer to the central city before going back to hotel. Make sure you realize there is a 6euro per person, per night city tax and extra person policy of 30 euro per night. So your room goes up by 48euro per night for three people!

"Clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable!"
We were very pleased with our stay here, while travelling on a budget. Receptionist gentleman was very helpful after a long flight coming into Rome at midnight. We were given useful information on places to visit, and convenient bus lines. Best of all, the room was nice and spacious, clean and so comfortable! Plus a breakfast buffet each morning.
