We were a couple, but this would be the perfect resort for a family, with fun activities included like lei making and yoga, and Poipu Beach 5 minutes away for a child-safe cove and fabulous easy snorkeling for older kids and adults. "We were so happy to see the sunrise over the oceon every morning from our room. We loved that bike rentals were free and the Kapaa bike path was so nearby. Glad to have filtered water in the lobby. Enjoyed the clean pool and the lawn chairs in the grass area overlooking the oceon. Pastries and coffee could have been better, but were convenient still, and free. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. "

During our ten day stay it was never annoyingly crowded. Location is easy to get to from Lihue and adjacent to Kōloa where more food options and shopping abound. We choose Kauai over other islands because it projects more of a laid back, old Hawaii vibe. This property oozes all of that. We will be back!!"

"We enjoyed our stay - the views of the bay from each floor was lovely. The beds were comfortable, and all the expected amenities were there. We loved that you could walk a short distance to an elevator that took you down to the beach and the resort next door.
