The hotel is close to train station and city center but is lots of noise from outside and when other rooms flash the toilet is loud. pillow quiet hard ,room on the small side, no space to pass the bed

Paganini is a great hotel, it is very clean and has friendly staff. The hotel is literally around the corner from Nice Ville where you can catch the train to many amazing places such as Èze, Monaco and Ventimiglia. The hotel room we had was quite small which wasnt ideal with a toddler whose learning to walk but for a couple or solo traveller is fine. The lift is also small so if you have many large suite cases you may have to do multiple trips. Amd if you have a large buggy it would not fit without folding it up. Just something to keep in mind if travelling with a baby. But again, it is a lovely hotel very close to lots of shops, restaurants etc.

I liked it and it’s close to the train and some good restaurants… it’s within walkable distance to the shopping area and somewhat walkable to the beach as well. I loved it and would stay again if I go to Nice again

Stayed here for a week with my 2 friends, so it was the three of us in one room. We each had an individual bed. The space was enough for the three of us. Super close to the train station (Nice-Ville), so it was very convenient for us to do day trips from Nice. It is a 15-minute walk from the hotel to Place Massena and a 20-minute walk to get to Old Nice. Daily housekeeping was included which is nice and the shower had running hot water. The hotel is also close to a lot of dining options, bakeries, and gelaterias. Overall, it was a good experience. However, I would like to point out that the carpet could use some vacuuming. It was quite dirty. The bathroom ceilings also had a bit of mold, perhaps due to the exhaust fan not working.

For $1100 euro for 4 nights, this didn’t feel like a budget hotel (maybe it is for Nice?). We were staying in room 1 right next to the entrance, which felt more like a dungeon than anything. These shouldn’t be bedrooms. The double bed is not big enough for two people to sleep comfortably, nor long enough for someone over 6ft tall. My feet were dangling off the end of the bed. The room is not soundproofed, you can hear people walking around and knocking on doors and talking loudly in the hallway. It took me til 1am to get to sleep the first two nights. The carpet is stained and looks old. The AC works well. The bathroom is uncomfortably small, I’ve had better at hostels. The shower curtain does nothing but make you feel like you are in a tiny space and can’t shower properly, water floods the bathroom floor regardless. The towel rail is barely hanging onto the wall. The toilet seat isn’t fixed to the ground properly and rocks while trying to wipe. The sliding doors that you can’t keep open are very annoying. House keeping didn’t clean the glasses or the sink while we were there and they didn’t replace the shower gel sachets during our 4 day stay. The soap they provide is very poor quality and doesn’t lather up properly. We didn’t know it was rugby World Cup when booking, I would have rather skipped Nice entirely. Location wise it was 2 blocks from the Main Street and close to a good laundromat and the tram/train station.

Nice location near the train station, but about a 15 minute walk to the main area and the beach. Felt safe walking late at night to and from the main areas of Nice. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

Lovely hotel

Delightful little hotel conveniently located near the Nice train station. Clean and quiet rooms, very helpful staff. Skip the offered breakfast and enjoy your morning croissant and coffee seated outside at one of many nearby cafes.

Cost more than it’s worth
The room is very small. It is also not soundproof. We could hear people brushing their teeth and talking in other rooms. The bathroom is really small. Cost a lot more than other hotels in the area. Found another hotel that included breakfast for less than what I paid here.
