This lovely superior studio combines a modern style with great comfort. Renovated with great care, this large studio will love to welcome you to relax after your many walks. This is the ideal place for a business trip or holiday, to enjoy the "Village" spirit of the old town; go shopping at the Cours Saleya just a stone's throw away, or laze around on the Ponchettes beach. Through the narrow streets, you will access the Castle Hill and its large public park, not forgetting the stunning view of the Bay of Angels. The absolute calm of the apartment will provide you with long nights of sleep. Your address This large Studio is located on the third floor of one of the very rare buildings recently constructed in a completely historic district. Note that the building has no lift. But accessibility via the 50 steps of the staircase is very easy. The tram station accessible from the airport, port or nearest station is: Line number 2 Station / Stop: Old Town Cathedral Your neighbourhood Just located 100 metres from the beach, the Cours Saleya and its famous daily market, the famous Promenade des Anglais, the apartment is also 5 minutes from the tram lines, bus lines and the shopping district of Jean Médecin Avenue and Paradis Street with its luxurious boutiques. The station is 15 minutes' walk or three tram stops away to explore the Riviera. Stay The large main air-conditioned room is open to a lovely garden and its building facades with pastel colours. The stay is decorated in bright and neutral tones. The furniture is all velvety in white and pastel shades. The comfort of the place and its great tranquility make it a rare location. The living room will accommodate two people on its large sofa bed, a coffee table, a television. A large round table that can accommodate 2 people. All stations pass through Fabron, Grosso & Gambetta for the Flowers district, Alsace Lorraine and Jean Médecin for the Musicians, Gold or Masséna districts, the Pin district and finally the Port district. A connection with line 1 is made at JEAN MÉDECIN Station. A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station. Taxis: The most direct: They are present at each terminal 1 & 2\. 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is an official fixed rate that must be applied + the baggage rate. Make sure to inform yourself well and specify it to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card. The bus: The shuttle to the airport (bus 98) is both cheap and convenient. It runs every twenty minutes during the day and will drop you off in the city centre, near Nice Thiers Station. I chose to arrive by train The tram - The best market: To get to line n°1, exit to the left of the station and go down towards Thiers Avenue until Jean Médecin Avenue (indicated by signage). Trams pass every five minutes and the ticket has a low cost. Line 1 serves the centre and the two northern districts of Nice. A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station. A connection with Line 2 (Airport / Port) is at JEAN MÉDECIN Station. Taxis: The most direct: 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is no fixed package. The driver must mandatorily activate his meter before leaving the station. You will only have to pay the fare displayed upon arrival + the luggage rate. Make sure to inquire and specify this to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card. Do not forget to have the complete address ready to be given to the driver. I chose to arrive by car There is always a public car park near your place of residence. Grabbed a 2 cup and it was also dirty. I washed my dishes before use to make sure they were clean. Also, the blanket on the bed was either dirty and/or stained. Retrieved an extra blanket from closet and it was also dirty/stained. I did find a blanket that appeared to be clean to use. I did inform the rental company of my findings and received an apology. Safety: Stairwell was pitch black since there were no windows. There are switches to turn on the light which were on a short timer. Needed to have cell phone ready to use for light. I had to shut my window one night due to unsettling noise from another flat (notified company). Also, their was another inconsiderate renter dragging their suitcase down the stairs at 3 am. Location: Close to a lot of great restaurants, farmers market and beach. Booking: There was several steps to complete requesting info on the traveler, mandatory deposit which then encouraged insurance and taking pictures of the rental and sending for the coverage. I am now going to stay only in hotels when I travel solo. ##### Lisa H.
