Nice stay in Nice

It's a well located hotel just above the old town and the staff were all very helpful and accommodating. Our biggest issues were stiff "beds" (sleeping benches?), a very tiny washroom with a dirty shower curtain and the wifi wasn't great. Otherwise, we had everything we needed for preparing meals, the laundry facilities on site are great and user friendly and the air conditioning control in the room was wonderful. You are minutes away from the tram, bus, groceries, restaurants and a ten minute walk away from the train station, We would definitely go back, good for the for the price!

Schoon en goed bereikbaar

De kamer was netjes en schoon, maar wel wat gedateerd. Hier er daar kon wat onderhoud gepleegd worden, maar voor iemand die een goed te betalen hotel zoekt dat op loopafstand van het stadscentrum ligt, is dit hotel dikke prima. Tramstations Acropolis en Garibaldi liggen op 2-3 minuutjes lopen. Het zwembad op het dak is goed te doen. Er staan geen ligstoelen o.i.d. bij, maar met je handdoekje op de stenen kan je er relaxed zitten. Ook het ontbijt is prima. Er waren croissantjes, chocoladebroodjes en stokbrood, smeersels, yoghurtjes, koffie, appelsap en jus d'orange, melk, al met al genoeg voor een stevig ontbijt. Overigens was er ook de mogelijkheid om het ontbijt buiten te eten, wat ik wel erg lekker vond. Bed lag lekker, keukentje met koelkast in de kamer was makkelijk. Minpuntje: af en toe kwam er een niet heel aangename geur uit het doucheputje.

Pros: la posizione in centro con possibilità di arrivare comodamente in auto (sempre che ci sia il parcheggio) e prezzo spesso offerto con sconti
Cons: prevedere nella conferma della prenotazione anche la conferma espressa dei servizi richiesti anche se devono essere pagati in loco al check out.
Location: vicino a piazza garibaldi - dispone di piccola piscina esterna
ho prenotato il 30 agosto per 2 gg con arrivo il 2 settembre chiedendo anche il parcheggio compreso dell'auto. E' stato scelto per il prezzo economico e per la comodità di avere l'auto custodita in albergo in modo da non essere obbligato a camminare all'arrivo ed alla partenza con valigie e borsoni per la città. La prenotazione, scelta senza opzione di cancellazione per la certezza del viaggio a Nizza, è stata confermata nella stessa giornata. Segnalazione di addebito subito come previsto. Peccato che alla sera del 1 settembre ho ricevuto messaggio che il parcheggio non sarebbe stato disponibile perchè gia full; situazione peraltro già risultante all'albergo al momento della prenotazione. Al check out è stato richiesto il pagamento di una colazione che non era stata effettuata. Dopo breve controllo, da noi sollecitato, l'operatore ha ritirato la richiesta .

Good location, terrible to park a car near by.

The hotel is nicely located close to the centre and the promenade. All within a walking distance 15-20 mins. The rooms were clean, i.e. no dust, rubbish, hair etc. but it needs refreshing. The walls were dirty, curtains unwashed for a long time etc. The corridor is even more run down with spots on walls, on carpets etc. Low cost refreshement would make it so much nicer. The most terrible is if you don't get a hotel parking space. We didn't and I spent an hour trying to find a spot to leave my small rented car. And you cannot pre-book your car park space!

Good staff

I did not stay at this hotel (see reason below) but I´ll give the staff my best recommendation! I made a booking through hotels dotcom. When arrived at the hotel the staff found out that the booking company did not send them my booking and the hotel was full. The booking company would not help me, though they made a mistake. They only offered to start a case which would be resolved in few weeks. Just what I needed for my one night stay in the city! The staff helped me out and got me a room at another hotel for the same price. All hotels were full at this date as there was a match in the UEFA EURO 2016 competition this night (which was the reason why I was in Nice). So top recommendation for the hotel staff but not so much for the booking company. The booking company has not as much as apologize for their mistake. This is the second time I try to write a review but the booking company would not publish the first one for no reason. So I´ll post the same review in tripadvisor.

Disappointing stay

When we arrived our superior apartment was not available so we were put in another apartment . Even the superior are very basic.The cleaners didn't come in once during our weeks stay.The swimming pool had no furniture what so ever around it leaving you to put towels on the tiled floor.Making sunbathing out of the question not good when its 90 degrees.Nice is lovely but this is not the place to stay

Felaktig marknadsföring. Dålig engelska hos personalen. Försökte lura oss att rummet vi fick var superior samt att det inte fanns singelsängar.

Efter en natt blev jag biten av nån form av insekter som kröp i min säng. Fick utslag och klåda. Klagade i receptionen som skickade upp en gubbe som bara kunde Franska. Hon lyfte på mina sängkläder ruskade på huvet och gick.
