I see the listing has been updated now, but it did not comfortably fit 16 when the max occupancy was listed at 18\. There is missing floorboard in the kitchen where they just used tape to highlight the missing plank. The downstairs bedroom is supposed to sleep 8 and it is inhabitable - smells like the inside of a dirty ski boot. Even with airflow, there is no getting rid of the smell. Kitchen only supplies 4 coffee mugs so good luck in the morning if you have a large crew and all are coffee drinkers. Kitchen utensils are sparce. But, overall, we did fine. Plenty of pots and pans, beautiful view. Hot tub was great and clean. We had family and a few friends stay for a ski week between Christmas and New Year's. Mother Nature didn't really cooperate in terms of the skiing, but the location was great as there was plenty of room for folks to spread out to read, do jigsaw puzzles, paint or play pool and ping pong in the basement. My son even played the piano spontaneously a few times! The beds and pillows are super comfortable which is a big factor in our enjoyment in a place so we were happy about that. We also enjoyed the hot tub on some gray and misty days! The living room furniture was a bit worn but super comfy and cozy around a nice gas fire. The only thoughts for improvement I might share with the owners is that the kitchen pots/pans are quite bad. The non-stick pans are so scraped up that the coating is peeling off -- which is both unhealthy as well as ineffective. There are some areas that need painting that look like they were patched and haven't been finished so it would be nice if those little touches were painted given the price point. A few more kid sized glasses would be lovely -- but there were plenty of wine/ martini glasses and coffee mugs! ;-). But those were very minor points and didn't interfere with our enjoyment of our vacation at all. We would definitely stay there again! ##### Jeni H. We are used to staying slopeside but this house made it worth it to not be slopeside. This was a fantastic vacation house. We came in July and enjoyed all of the amenities in the home and the very private lot with beautiful views. We highly recommend this home. Clean. Spacious. We stayed in August as a family of seven (and two dogs) and appreciated the space. The most comfortable (and firm) bed is in the masters bedroom on the ground floor. House is not accessible to wheelchairs at all.Impeccable sheets and numerous bath and hot tub towels were provided, as well as paper towels, cleaning products and sponges for the kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel as well as toilet paper were also provided, but not a single tissue: we had to buy a box ourselves. Now, everything in the other reviews about the living and dining room being so hot in summer is true, as there is no central AC (only single room units in each bedroom), then the living room ceiling fan apparently still does not work, and there are no curtains or blinds there. In the afternoon, we had to block dining room windows with boards of isolating material found in a basement closet, and living room bay windows with quilts, while running two standing fans outside upstairs bedroom doors trying to blow the air into the hallway above the living room.Then we had an issue with the electric « smart » lock, which died (batteries did) on the second day, locking everyone out except one person who was luckily napping inside and let the rest in. While the home is huge with big rooms the furnishings are worn. The family room couch was old/worn with equally worn/old/smelly pillows. The kitchen pots and pans were old/rusty and put away dirty. Glassware was old plastic. There was broken stereo. The overhead fan light in the family room didn't work so we could barely see each other when the sun went down. The fireplace didn't work. We couldn't use the ping pong table or the pool table because the ping pong paddles were broken and there were no chalk points at the end of the pool sticks and the pool table needs new felt. The rugs were horribly stained. The posted view is from the fire pit which is below the house. The view from the house blocked by tall trees and no view of the mountains but the view is nice. I wished I had paid attention to some of the reviews as I thought the people writing the reviews were just being "picky" rather than "truthful". This home is in dire need of some TLC from the owner before renting to another unsuspecting vacationing family. ##### donna h. The view from the deck and dining area was even better than expected. The mattress on at least one bed was a bit caved in, and the futon was in pretty rough shape, but that wasn't a big problem for us. Everything else was great. ##### Austin M.
