Friends Getaway
We had a wonderful stay. The place was spacious and very clean. It's off season so it was too cold to sit out on the decks. Views were gorgeous. Although it was the end of March we were able to shop, eat and go out.

We booked at the Newport Onshore but were bumped to the Newport LongWharf, a sister property. We also had the same thing happen back in December. This time we got a very small up and down unit where the building had no security- the door was left unlocked and had no keypad. To start, the unit had the living room and kitchen on the first floor with no coat closet. A narrow turning staircase led to 2 small bedrooms (no closets but wardrobes) and a small bathroom; my friend and my husband tripped on the stairs. The windows and ceiling registers were filthy/dusty, the door to the water heater closet was full of dust, the tub on the first floor was rusty and the heat was blasting even after turning it way down and off, oh, and the dishwasher needs to be fixed. This was a weekend to introduce friends to Newport. We chose not to complain as we weren't spending much time in our rooms. But because of this experience, they will never stay at the LongWharf property again.

Great space, better than I expected. Our three toddlers boys shared one bedroom, we took the king bedroom, and had space to enjoy a date night in front of the fire. Will be staying there again!

Parking situation is atrocious. Assigned spots , even in off season. Our car was blocked in by another guest on purpose and management would not do anything about it. Management was rude and extremely unprofessional given the circumstances and situation. If the Front desk staff and management had handled the parking situation we experienced differently, our review would have been much better. People make a difference in experiences and the Management staff at this facility seemed to have been not trained well or not suited for a managerial position. Never in my life have I experienced such poor decision making and lack of service, especially in the service industry. Never again. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere to book your stay.

We have stayed here several times. Though we enjoy the views from North wind building a little more and we were in South Wind. Always clean and very nice staff. Friendly atmosphere. It's a great location. Near so many great restaurants. We had never stayed at Christmas time before and it was very nice!

Great stay in Newport!
This is a lovely property with tons of space for our family. We did two loads of laundry, cooked breakfast, relaxed on the decks and enjoyed our stay throughly. Would recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and charm of Newport!

2 Bedrooms - 2 Bathrooms - Free Parking - Wow View
Wonderful 18 night stay. The 2 full bedrooms (quiet with doors that closed), 2 full bathrooms, living room, dining room, full kitchen were great, since my wife and I were there with our adult son. A closet present in each bedroom, plus a closet in living area. Lots of drawers in dressers/nightstands for clothes. Kitchen was well equipped (microwave, dishwasher, full oven, toaster, coffee maker, bowls - plates - silverware - pots - pans, etc. and "starter items" for our stay such as dishwasher soap, sample coffee, etc. were helpful to find when we arrived. Room was very clean. No housekeeping, but we simply called front desk and they would bring clean towels, etc. Views of the marina were amazing from the windows in our room. There were balconies with chairs, but unfortunately it was too cold outside to use them in January. Free, reserved parking was super, esp. since parking is a premium in Newport. If you have more than one vehicle, check if 2 spots available. Stacked washer/dryer in the room was very handy, but capacities were small and unfortunately very noisy. Furniture in living room a bit uncomfortable. TV had limited number of channels. Large dining table with chairs was great. My wife is 5' and could not reach middle/top kitchen shelves nor reach microwave above stove to put items in or out, especially when hot. Front desk found a small fold-up step-stool for us to use to solve "high shelves" issue when we reported this problem. Front Desk closes at 5 PM!

Spacious unit. Great harbor view. Easy unloading directly by elevator with carts readily available. Loved the HDMI featur on the tv. Fireplace, deck very quiet. Was excellent. Heated floor in the bathroom. No vehicle needed everything is within walking distance.

It was great. The room tended to be a little chilly but there is a fireplace. I’m not sure if they do recycling there, which I like to do. Very comfortable and clean, well equipped kitchen.

Disappointed with the unit - I was not informed we would be getting a handicap shower. The bench is in the shower stream and not moveable. I stubbed my toe on it several times. The bath sink drained very slowly and backed up several times. On the plus side, location is excellent and the unit layout is great.

Excellent location! Restaurants, shops, views of the Harbor - this is where you want to stay. The suite was spacious for our family of 6. We used the pool, and the sauna. Very clean and well maintained. No doubt we’ll stay here again when we come back to Newport.

Awesome property. I had a two bed with a living room, kitchen and dining table. Also had two bathrooms. The room was like an apt that was modern and super clean. I loved that we had our own floor with an elevator. Walking distance to all the restaurants, shopping etc. The front desk was was awesome too. Highly recommended.

The staff member who checked us in was VERY nice. She told us about restaurant week and gave us a coupon to a vineyard, she got usbreally excited about our trip! The room was spacious and had a full kitchen, oven, stove, coffee maker, even a blender. A big factor, especially these days, is cleanliness. The room was very clean. I couldn't find any complaints when it came to cleanliness, good job! The only disappointing part was there is a balcony that looks over the water and it was closed. I understand that with covid many ammenities are closed but if the pool is open, why can't a balcony withbsome chairs.

Great location, Beautiful view from the room room was very clean and very spacious. Only problem is that each room suite only gets one parking space. We did go with a other couple who had there own car. Because was off season they could park in the Marina, but in season only one spot. And we walk around town and only saw one very small paid parking. And I would be leery leaving a car there overnight. For this reason I would not come in season.

Great Newport Location
Beautiful well maintained waterfront property close to shops restaurants and landmarks. It looked like our 2 bedroom unit was freshly renovated. Everything was immaculate and there were great views. Our only negative experience was that our keys did not work when we finally found our unit, Person at check in said she’d send someone immediately with new keys but didn’t . After waiting a while we walked back over to the main building to get new keys. If you have an SUV ask for an uncovered spot as bigger cars do not fit under the buildings. Would definitely stay here again.
