The kids loved the hot tub and the sun room was nice. However, the house next door to us was a Vacasa rental with an upstairs permanent renter. She came out to see if we could turn off the hot tub that was below her. The renters staying next to us (below her) did not close the hot tub or turn it off. Beaches, grocery stores and restaurants of Newport are all close by and the kitchen is well equipped. Had trouble with the door code three times, but phone support was good and by 3rd time, a service technician came out and fixed the problem. We had a very nice stay. ##### Elizabeth B. The house was comfortable and loved the hot tub. Nice kitchen and like leaving with clean clothes. The only problem was finding the house. SW 5th Street is very confusing. We spent 40 min once we got to Newport locating the home. OVERALL WONDERFUL. Great restaurants and Nye Beach is great for walking. ##### Bernard S. Great location, walking distance to Nye Beach and the Bayfront! It was great for 6 of us though the layout was a little strange, you have walk through one room to get to another. And the floor in front of back bathroom shower was a little warped and there was only one cast iron pan for cooking. We loved the backyard and since the weather was perfect, we spent a lot of time there in the shade. We could see just enough of the ocean from the front room to know where we were and walked to the beach a few times. While I loved the retro vibe and look of this house, it did feel worn. Overall it was a good stay. The house is centrally located which is perfect for our needs. This time it was cleaner when we arrived which was appreciated . Only two negatives. While the hot tub is greatly appreciated it seemed like fewer jets were functioning this year as opposed to February 2023\. Also we had planned to utilize the gas grill but there was no propane tank (in 2023 there was a propane tank). I can only assume it was stolen and that was disappointing. It was hard to find the location as the GPS did not take us to the exact place. However we were able to contact Matt from Vascaand he helped us to find the location. we got a text from him telling us that the place had not been totally clean yet so we were to check in an hour later and they were going to give us an 11:30 AM check out to make up for this. That was a little disappointing. We were supposed to meet up with family members at 5 PM. The furniture in this place was very disappointing. The couch in the living room sits very low. The wicker chairs that are all in there are also very uncomfortable if you just wanna sit down and enjoy a movie and watch something for a while. three bedrooms one of the beds sat very tall. It ain’t made it very hard for us to get in to sleep in but it was one of the most comfortable beds in the place. the other bed that was in there that to me look like should’ve been the master bedroom was very low. If you have bad problems any problems like we do it makes it very difficult to get up at night to go use the restroom. The other room had bunkbeds and another bed which were fine. However we wanted to sleep in the larger bed because it looked more comfortable. This place would be wonderful if they would do something about the furniture. the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook in there. it is close to the beach and also everything in town within walking distance. We felt that it was reasonably priced. We only wish that the accommodations and the furniture and stuff were a little more friendlier and comfortable. If you’re going to stay there and I’m going to spend a lot of time it in the room and this would probably work out for you. But if you have back problems and problems with like we did. The accommodations for the furniture were not good at all. ##### Beatrice J.
