With beach views from the large front patio and walking distance to Newport Pier, grocery store and restaurants, this home has all the necessities. The spacious living and dining area provides ample room for relaxation and dining. The compact but well equipped kitchen has everything you'll need for your cooking needs along with ample storage. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two twins. Both bedrooms are adjacent to a large hall bath with dual sinks and a tub/shower combination. The sofa in the living room folds out into a bed. The home offers exceptional sunset views and cool ocean breezes. The spacious patio has plenty of comfortable seating, and a barbecue. Wonderful location just one house off the beach. Lots of good people watching on Seashore Drive that runs by the house. The outside patio was a definite plus. The interior of the condo was "bare bones" meaning minimum furniture and wall coverings. We could see that in the pictures before we rented but it is more striking in person. A little more furnishings would make it more appealing inside. Another thing that doesn't show up in the rental pictures is the old and worn feel to the place. Reviewer Comments: First let me say this is our 5th rental in the Newport area, as far as location goes it was great, but the rental itself was the worst we have stayed in. The inside was very disappointing, the owners have not tried to maintain let alone improve this rental. They were so lazy in painting the unit, they painted ALL the trim, walls and cabinets the same bland color, it looks like kids painted it. When you first walk in it is very basic, which is fine, we did't spend a lot of time in the kitchen or living room area. The bathroom was gross and had missing light bulbs, the beds weren't made and when we did make them there was fleas!! Ants were in the kitchen, we never cooked in it. The smaller room smelled like pet urine, it was almost too much for my kids to sleep in there. If it wouldn't have been a Sunday when we arrived we would have tried to get a different unit. It was very disappointing because in my conversations with Burr reality I was pretty specific that I didn't need a "luxury" unit but I did want clean and updated. Like I said the location was nice but I would rather stay more off the beach then stay there again. Might be okay if you are a bunch of college students just trying to have a vacation, but as a family I would not stay there again. ##### lana h. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting beach houses since the 1990's and have never been as pleased with a Management company as we have been with Burr White! They are the BEST! We have reserved this property for three years in a row now, simply due to the fantastic location and the amount of parking spots available. (we have a large family!)... The location is just off the sand, so you don't have the boardwalk traffic, but are very close to the ocean. Couldn't ask for a better family vacation- the house is always clean, with nice furniture, fresh 's perfect for our needs! Thank you Burr White! Reviewer Comments: The House was good. We enjoyed ourselves and our stay. We did have some problems with the upstairs tenents running across the floor, and not just in the daytime. The tenents would let their kids run and jump around at all hours of the day and night. I would have talked to them, but when the noise was going on in the middle of the night they would not answer the door. They also would not pick-up after their kids. They tend to park their bikes in front of my door, and in my extra parking spot. Mind me, I do not like to complain, that is why I only called to the office once. The other thing we were missing was a mop. The house had nice white tile in it but showed all the dirt. I would have liked to clean it up. The house was located in a wonderful spot. I would like to rent it again the next time I can aford it. Thank you for a great time. Hope we get to do it again soon.
