If pets will be in the property over 1 week, We reserve the right to require guests to purchase travel insurance. We only provide supplies to get you through 3-4 days. The ban prohibits all open burning in all 100 counties in this instance, regardless of whether a permit was previously issued. The issuance of any new permits has also been suspended until the ban is lifted. Anyone violating the burn ban faces a $100 fine plus $183 court costs. Any person responsible for setting a fire may be liable for any expenses related to extinguishing the fire. To keep belongings safe and secure, be sure to lock all doors and windows when leaving the property. Pets Pets are permitted on the property ONLY when disclosed and approved before check-in. We have a 30lb weight limit on dogs. Any undisclosed pets will result in a $350 fine. No cats are allowed on the premises. Please keep pets off furniture and beds. Any breach will result in additional cleaning charges up to $300. Pet owners wanting to bring pets must disclose the type of pet, breed, name, and age (3 pets maximum). If the house smells of smoke or if remnants are found inside the house a smoking fee will be issued of $500. Damages Any damages done to the property must be reported immediately. Additional damages caused by neglect or negligence will be charged to the guest. Internet Usage By using the Internet provided at any property, you agree to our Internet Policy as follows. We are not responsible for material viewed or downloaded by users from the internet including but not limited to illegally copyrighted material such as movies, music, or other digital media. The host, Ian, made the stay seamless and enjoyable! The cabin was nicely stocked with essentials (toilet paper/linens/kitchen supplies etc.) and Ian was always extremely quick to respond anytime I had a question. We did have an issue with the breaker box but he responded within minutes and had an electrician out within 15min to have it fixed. The cabin was centrally located for a short drive to Grandfather mountain/ blowing rock/ Boone and Linville. We definitely enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend! ##### Becky L. You cannot beat the location. Two waterfall hikes within 30 mins. To the parkway and grandfather mountain in 20 mins. Grocery store in 15 mins. Plus you get a dog that visits in the morning and throughout the day. We named it Mr. Muffins. I believe it was a girl, but that is what my daughter named the dog. Friendly. Do not be worried. Scared the the daylights out of me as we got there after 10pm after a 4 hour drive. I go to get out of the truck and it was there wagging its tail by my car door door. Lots of dry wood for fires provided which is a plus. Only negative is the downstairs tub is hard to shower in. Overall would highly recommend it. Netflix on the TV at night after fire outside was a plus. Could not get the TV upstairs to connect to anything though. We were gone most of the day and just returned to eat which helps to save money. Short drive to rafting and zip line locations. ##### Jonathan W. Very tranquil and we didn't want to return home. Highly recommend for a great way to recharge. The cabin was beautiful. It was so peaceful and felt secluded but was close to many stores. You really can't ask for a better host either. Ian goes above and beyond for his guests in all aspects. We enjoyed our stay in this cabin near a wedding venue. Many kitchen and bath amenities made our stay comfortable and the cleanliness was A+. We enjoyed the outdoor deck, porch, and fire pit. A neighbor's dog frequented the outdoor areas but was not a nuisance. Overall, great place to stay. ##### Janet H. Good location. Cabin was roomy, clean and had everything you need. Good location only complaints tv/internet service was intermittent, the storm doors did not close properly and the porch chairs are not comfortable. Highly recommend! It is secluded and yet close to so many things. The cabin is huge! The kitchen is great, It had everything we needed to cook meals there. The view is beautiful, having coffee on the front porch swing was great. The kids liked the treehouse in back too, though it is quite a steep hill to get to it the sunset view from up there is amazing. Beds and couches were comfortable as well. The only thing we would have liked was dressers in the bedrooms to unpack our clothes into. Otherwise it was just perfect! The owner was also very responsive when we had any questions. ##### Greta K. We had an amazing time in this cabin. My family and I were visiting during the winter snowstorm. Unfortunately, we were snowed in for an extra day. Not that we were complaining! Fortunately, we had an amazing place to stay and enjoy the snow!! The owner, Ian, was so helpful getting us out of the 17 inches of snow that was covering our cars and driveway! The property manager was very quick to answer any questions. My son loved having a Husky dog visit when we were outside. The dog was very friendly. The house was very clean.
