City Centre Location

Posted 25-Apr-2017
Pros: Location Clean
Cons: Maybe better/ a few more tea and coffees in the room.
Location: Central. Close to the main shopping centre.
Wanted to stay near to my daughter who lives in the student accommodation next door, so perfect. Could park across the road in the council car park from check in to check out at a cost of £8.00 which made life easier. The rooms itself was stylish and clean and had a nice bathroom.

Ideally located, lacks quality.

Posted 14-Apr-2017
Stayed for one Saturday night, chose it due to its star rating and great location; directly opposite St Janes' Park - fantastic! The hotel itself is fine but is let down by trying to be too trendy and the design is not at all of quality - it will date very quickly, looks like a nightclub in places, e.g. the morning breakfast area which at night is a sports bar. Suits persons who are going to watch The Lads, and party down the Big Market afterwards.

Nice hotel in the city centre

The hotel and staff were great. We'll be using this hotel, next time we need to stay in Newcastle.

Disappointing 4 star hotel

Posted 04-Apr-2017
Location is very good, close to city centre. Lots of traffic and noise as next to Newcastle United and busy bar open until late. No bath or wardrobe in rooms and only one working lift which takes forever. Not good value for money, although staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Stay for university visit.

Posted 23-Mar-2017
Pros: Really good position to walk into the city centre and university.
Location: Shopping, looking at the galleries and museums and finding out about studying in Newcastle.
The hotel experience was very good. The kitchen area was a welcome useful addition for a comfortable stay. The bathroom and details in the room were very stylish.

The family room was beautiful, we even ordered room service after midnight and it wasn't too expensive, the staff were all friendly and helped us whenever we needed

Rooms very small for what we paid. Bed tiny. Shower drainage poor.

Overpriced

Posted 24-Feb-2017
Spent a night for an anniversary with my husband. The rooms are a bit over exaggerated in the description. Basically a small box room with a bed in it. bathroom was nice. Heaters were extremely loud. TV was not working. For the price, disappointed.

Great location. Friendly staff. Room comfortable, but oddly no wardrobe and yet a huge blank space of floor where you could put one very simply. One of the most comfy beds I've slept in!
