After paying received 6 emails stating there was no bar, kitchen, restaurant, and breakfast would be served in the foyer and eaten elsewhere. Room 334. Ancient bed divan even older mattress, dirty floor with hair, fluff and cotton buds. Loo seat wrong size and shape. We complained after two almost sleepless nights a received a twin bed room. Better bed better sleep. Parking was £14 per 24 hours.

Unfortunately was put into a disabled room which felt very barn like and space. The bed was very hard but with a dip in the middle, so fairly uncomfortable. The hotel was dated ( but under improvement). The staff were very pleasant.

This hotel is a perfect location for exploring Newcastle. Car park is a little small but there are many alternatives. Breakfast seamed expensive, so we popped to pub nearby. The Hotel itself was clean and perfect for the one night stay.

The Colleagues Shine!
This is my favourite hotel to stay at in Newcastle when I travel for business. I've been here multiple times over the past year and I have always found the rooms to be of a high standard, the food fantastic and the colleagues 1st class across all aspects of the hotel's operation. A highlight for me is always breakfast service - I cannot fault them. The team always remember me and make me feel so welcome every time I stay, such an important aspect of hospitality that they truely nail every time! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the city (car park on site is an added bonus!).

Overnight trip
Overnight trip to attend a concert. Location was very good. Staff were lovely and friendly. Parking was convenient but bays were tight. Standard room was comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was good but being served half a mushroom etc seemed a little mean. The hotel was very clean, although husband found biscuit crumbs under the phone though which he found amusing. Overall would recommend.

Bathroom was dirty with mold and a clogged drain in the shower, grout and flooring was worn out and dirty. Curtains worn and dirty, furniture was worn and chipped. Baseboards and doors dirty and needed paint. The staff was extremely helpful and kind the hotel needs remodel. The towel warming rack was broken and one of the lamps didn’t work and the ventilation system didn’t work in the bathroom. Need a much better entrance for people of age or disabled as the stairs are steep and slippery with rain.

Nice centrally located hotel
Well positioned hotel close to shops, bars and the waterfront. Lovely room. Although I did hear some road noise during the night. Breakfast was lovely, good choice of hot and cold stuff.

Perfect GNR weekend
Fantastic stay for the Great North Run weekend. A great central location, handy for the metro and in walking distance to the main tourist areas. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the hotel really went the extra mile for the runners. From the lovely card, note, and sweets in the room, to the table on the morning of GNR stacked with water, bananas and protein bars, to the restaurant discount for medal holders. Superb! I will definitely be back, running or not!
