Brilliant view of the Tyne Bridge
Easy quick check in on a wild rainy January night, helpful staff. The room had a fabulous view of the bridge, could have just sat and watched it all night. Spotlessly clean with all the usual bits & pieces, like iron/hairdryer/tea/water/toiletries. The bed was a bit firm, but not saggy, pillows puffy and doona fluffy.
Breakfast was good, varied, usual stuff with lots of choice, you could really stuff yourself from the self service buffet if you wanted to! Again the staff were friendly and helpful, dead canny!
Used room service and it was prompt and really rather nice! I suppose a bit expensive for a bowl of soup, sandwich with salad & crisps, but then that's pretty standard.
Parking was easy, but it IS hard to find the entrance to the Hotel! The road is confusing so have a look on street view first.
Altogether a very pleasant stay. We will stay there again.
