Terrific location - walked to everything.

Pros: The facilities were great, the staff was wonderful, the location was ideal for us. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Central to everything to do in Newcastle and Gateshead. Easy walking distance 10-25 minutes.
Andrew gave us an immediate upgrade upon arrival since we were staying for 8 nights - free breakfast and Wifi. All staff were absolutely wonderful whenever we required any form of assistance.

Zimmer hatte einen super Ausblick auf die Brücken von Newcastle. Besonders nachts ein sehr schönes Fotomotiv. Am Wochenende sehr gute Partystimmung in der Innenstadt und den vielen Pubs. Auch gute Busverbindungen um sich im Umland die vielen Castle anzusehen.

Terrible food and to nosey at night

To noisy at night in corridor. For a Hilton room very basic and run down Cost way to much for what I got, the food not nice and was cold would not recommend.

Nice hotel in a great location

This was our second stay at the Hilton Gateshead and we'll probably be back. It's a great location - within walking distance of Newcastle Central Station and just off the Quayside. We had a few wee niggles: our bathroom had an unpleasant smell on the first night; service was a bit slow in the restaurant on occasion; breakfast was a bit hit and miss; and the spa pool was out of action for the first three days of our visit.

Nice hotel but wrong side of river

The hotel is good but it is in a non description area over the river from the city. I attended a two day conference and the delegate lunch was extremely bad quality.

Had a great 2 night stay. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Great location too. Would recommend.
