Lovely clean place. Convenient to where I needed. Food facilities were closed by time I arrived to check in and although a kettle provided there were no tea bags provided

Andrew gave us an immediate upgrade upon arrival since we were staying for 8 nights - free breakfast and Wifi. All staff were absolutely wonderful whenever we required any form of assistance.

Lovely hotel full of original features. Only downside was room smelt damp and musty. Really noticeable upon entering the room.

"Convenient location"
Straight forward check-in. Based on advice by previous users (Tripadvisor) and hotel website, parked my car in correct bays in multi-storey carpark next door - very convenient. As an able-bodied person, I was given a 'disabled' room on Level 2 - plenty of space in the double, which was nice. There was a slight musky smell from the bathroom/toilet. Apparently the hotel was full during my stay. Sound-proofing from traffic outside the window was poor - thankfully the noise level dropped after midnight. Can get more coffee and tea at the reception desk. The staff managed the very large delegates of Chinese school children very well in the morning at breakfast. They kept the food and beverage topped up during the morning rush. Well done. Lovely crispy croissant. The 'scrambled eggs' had an unusual texture and the sausages could have been of better quality. Would struggle to enjoy them if had to stay longer than 2 nights. Will likely stay here again if price remains competitive.

"Great location, friendly staff, just ok for kids"
Wonderful, personable and engaging staff. Very helpful with ideas of things to see and places to go. Lovely hotel well situated for beach and metro to town. Felt very pampered and rooms large, supercomfortable, not too hot, spacious. Great showers. Fab gym for fitness buffs and 25 m pool with lots of daylight. Limited swim times for children in the pool which we had not known beforehand. 9-12 and2-6. Staff stricct on this which was a shame as it does not always fit in to holiday makers day but accomodates the regular, local gym users. No babysitting service. Great for couples . We were the only family there but english schools dont break off for 2 weeks. Food very good.

"Comfy beds and lovely bathroom "
Lovely bed and bathroom although found dust on the bed side tables and lamps. Carpet was dirty around the edges and we were unable to turn the radiator off. Noisy guests above us and floor was very creaky. Friendly staff.
