Had slight problem finding it. When Macquarie Rd mentioned cleared problem. Mgt here are good always willing to improve Customer Service & adjust for inconvenience.

It is basically a 3-star motel, the problem is, they charge a 5-start motel rate. Skimping on everything: toilet cistern set to one quarter; no cutlery or crockery in the rooms.

Awesome regional motel
I travel a lot for business all over Australia, and generally stay in chain hotels to improve my chance of having a positive experience. I was a bit nervous staying at this motel, but I was overall blown away by the quality. The room was large, and very clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillow options. The mini bar was stocked, which is now becoming rare even at high end places, and there was lots of little touches. For example, I find that often at motels the install 'daylight' bulbs or florescent tubes. It's like staying in a supermarket. This hotel has installed lots of reading lights with warm white bulbs, but also given the option of ceiling lights with bright white. It's a small thing, but when I am working late... It's an important touch. They also have subscribed to every Foxtel (cable) package. Wonderful stay... Highly recommend.

On arrival they had our rooms mixed up. They then started to get frustrated with me because I wouldn’t keep the room( i needed an extra bed for my daughter. ) then the owner went off because the children put water on the floor I think the owners need to retire, very unpleasant service made me feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Would not recommend at all

You are correct in that your rooms had been mixed up however you failed to mention we went out of our way to accommodate you by calling other guests to see if we could change rooms. At the time you appeared to be happy the problem had been sorted and thanked us. We called you regarding medication that had been left behind. At no time did you tell us you were dissatisfied. Please note Age Discrimination should in no way be brought into this matter and your comments require an apology.

We didn’t spend a lot of time there as we were visiting family but the beds were hard and the shower took a long time to heat up and the hot two was only needed so you couldn’t regulate the temperature for a child and the shower head could be a little bigger but besides that it was clean and nice

Checkin was so easy, staff were friendly, parking a breeze, motel is older but room was so clean and well maintained as was the entire place, Foxtel on the TV, air conditioning that made the room so comfortable. 2 clubs less then 2mins walk in either direction. Supermarket just around the corner. Absolutely recommend staying here!

This was a fantasic place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally well presented and perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. It is close to lots of amenities and great value too.

Our stay at Cardiff was a last minute plan and we hit the jackpot with this Motel! Friendly staff, clean and spacious facilities for our family of 3 and close to all areas we visited around Newcastle. Also located near a large supermarket.

Really well maintained motel, the brickwork makes it look a bit dated but everything was clean and the beds and couch seemed to be recent purchases. Our 2 bedroom unit was incredibly spacious compared to other motels. Checkin was easy, the fish lines were great for the kids to look at. Would definitely stay here again.
