This an older property but the rooms were well appointed and clean. We only had breakfast but the buffet was well stocked and tasty. . We arrived by train and it was a short walk to the hotel - as it was dark when we arrived it helped to have the name of the hotel lit up as a guide , as the walking directions took us into an area under construction.

Good comfortable hotel. Not a lot around the hotel, but if you need a comfortable bed, access to reasonable food and drinks this is a very good option and on the night I stayed reasonably priced.

Will definitely stay here again. The room was spoilt less and I would highly recommend the breakfast- yummy!! Just be warned regarding the parking; make sure you are in a designated space or you could be fined a £100. The receptionist made sure we knew of this and made sure we signed in to pay the £6 parking fee.

Nice hotel
Lovely hotel, stayed before and will again. I would say our superior room was no different to the standard room we stayed in last time. Not really sure of the difference. Breakfast had a great choice.

Good night sleep
Initially we had requested a quiet room, but that wasn't provided. We were then given a couple of other rooms but still either overlooking the road or were by a generator. The last room we were given was perfect. 6th floor overlooking the back. We had a great night's sleep. Very comfortable. I'm just glad the hotel wasn't full so we were able to be given what we had initially asked for.

Rugby trip.
Stayed in Swindon to travel to Bath to watch some rugby. We arrived about 10am from Newcastle, parked at the discounted car park which is about a 3 minute walk away. Fortunately our room was available so we had the opportunity to wash, change etc. The young lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean, and the bed very comfortable. Check out was quick and efficient, which is when the parking discount was validated. Will definately stay again. Excellent.
