Good location, but disappointing overall

Posted 21-Mar-2017
Location was very good, right down the street from Time square. Room was ok, but weird things like no fridge, only light blankets on the bed and an elevator that never seem to function correctly took away from the experience. Also, the hotel would not honor a price guarantee because I rented it a few weeks in advance costing me an extra 160 dollars. I wouldn't stay here again.

Memorable View

Posted 13-Mar-2017
Pros: Great room at a great rate.
Cons: Due to exterior construction we couldn't see the small sign for the hotel. They need a sign that can be easily seen.
Location: Everything at Times Square is right there. Convenient to numerous great restaurants and shops.
We had a memorable view of the New Years ball from our room. The room was large and comfortable.

Great location!

Posted 09-Mar-2017
Location: Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Centre, Fifth Avenue - just steps away!
This hotel is great. Rooms are big considering it's in New York. Nice and clean, staff are very friendly. It's in a great location, perfect for hopping around New York and sightseeing. Breakfast is basic, but good. Loved the nightly happy hour as well. Would definitely recommend.

All in 1 hotel

Posted 23-Feb-2017
This hotel offers so much for such a great price! Spacious room, very clean, free continental breakfast, free wifi, free cocktail hour which we included wine, various soft drinks and Hors d'oeuvres, bottled water in room and when requested via housekeeping. Comfy bed, although pillows were too high for my liking. In a great location, minute walk from time square and many restaurants and close to other sites!

Nice hotel within walking...

Posted 22-Feb-2017
Pros: Clean, courteous staff.
Cons: An omelette station would be nice with the complimentary continental breakfast station.
This is a nice hotel and is located in a great location. It's easy to get to many attractions within walking distance.

Tasteful boutique hotel near Times Square.

Posted 13-Feb-2017
Pros: Location; breakfast; boutique-style.
Location: Times Square on your doorstep, with a host of things to do. O'Lunneys Irish pub on the next block does nice food and had a good atmosphere.
I've been to NY a number of times, but this is a real find. It's quite well hidden and there's only a subtle little sign outside to indicate where it is - we walked past it a few times before realising where it was. But having found it, we were very impressed. For a NY hotel, the rooms were spacious. The bed - whilst not enormous - was comfortable. The shower was powerful (although it did have a shower curtain - why do hotels still have shower curtains? They're gross!!) and the decor in general wasn't bad. We stayed in February with a foot of snow on the ground, and I did think the room was cold at night - even with an additional blanket. But the weather was bitterly cold, so perhaps that's not surprising. The continental breakfast is pretty good, too - although the breakfast room is small and can get busy. The staff were very nice - friendly and courteous. All in all, a very good hotel just a stone's throw from Times Square.

Underwhelming

Posted 11-Jan-2017
Pros: Room size and Cleanliness
Cons: More amenities ...MUCH better Comp breakfast with palatable coffee.
Location: Brilliant location.
Although the location was good...the facilities were pretty basic...a lot of the room amenities no longer supplied including a bar fridge which had been removed ! I booked because it was advertised on Booking.com as being so close to Times Sq with Views...NO VIEWS at all because the Millenium Hotel Group have now built the Broadway next door ...blocking any views that may have been available at one time ? Because I booked 8 months in advance ..I think I got good value as NY standards go ,but even the staff..although polite were not very 'Service' Oriented. I would try another hotel next time...Complimentary breakfast was awful ...So I opted to pay and eat out.

A surprising jewel near to Time Square

Posted 01-Jan-2017
Pros: It was new, clean, and conveniently located.
Cons: The signage outside of the hotel is very unobtrusive. When we first arrived, we walked right by without knowing it.
We came upon this hotel on-line by accident. This gem, hidden away unobtrusively in the busy theatre district, was new, well-appointed, and clean. Staff were more than willing to help with arranging travel to the airport, dinner reservations, and anything else needed. Restaurants, theatres, and attractions are in easy walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable but nevertheless top-end hotel in the downtown. I will be back!

Perfect little hotel

Posted 30-Dec-2016
Staff very welcoming and allow you to enjoy your holiday. Knowledgeable about the area and always pleasant. Breakfast area small and sometimes runs out of seating but that's a minor inconvenience as there is ample food and drink for all if you get there in the specified times. Our room was a bit tired but spotless adequate enough with complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee and a view of the NYE countdown ball. A little gem so close to Times square and Bryant Park as well as bus and the metro
