First time visit to New York for 25th Anniversary
My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary this year and decided to go on a trip to New York. Using Expedia's website, we tried to get into the Doubletree Times Square but had technical issues getting the trip booked. Late that night, I went on Expedia's App for the iPhone and found The Premier, which was not popping up on the Website. No issues getting the hotel and flight booked through the app. Did not know much about the Premier, but the location sounded good. When we got to NYC through JFK, our driver dropped us off on the backside of the Millennial Broadway, the Premier sister hotel next door. We walked through the busy Millennial lobby and the Hudson Theater lobby to the Premier lobby. There we found a quiet, contemporary lobby with professional concierges that check us in. Our room was also contemporary and comfortable, with a sitting area, bed on a stand, vanity, Keurig, closet, very roomy bathroom with a bath and shower, and large windows. The room included a very nice continental breakfast buffet and evening reception with wine, beer and light appetizers. While we were just 1/2block off Times Square, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. It's location was convenient for walking and for getting to the tour buses which were abundant in Times Square. Close to a number of theaters, great food venues and shopping.
