Close to airport, metro and good Mexican
Two nite stay. Great breakfast. Nite shift receptionist got us a taxi at 515am; $25 to LaGuardia. Large room; great bed. Housekeeping needs to vacuum the edges. Smoke smell evident although not strong. We opened window and that decreased odor. When using metro, take local train as express doesn't stop at 52nd. Easy to head back from 60 th on returning train. Mexican st 53rd and Roosevelt by train: Adelitas. We'd stay again.

Carpet is very dirty furniture is breaking apart. Employees are unfriendly special that guy that serves breakfast in the morning. Hotel is near MTA 7 56st. and laundromat and Rite Aid in 5 minutes walking distance.

Great value
We were staying in New York for a few days for vacation. The hotel was conveniently located close to the subway, and the neighborhood was very nice. Considering how expensive NYC usually is, the price was right for a decent room in a good location. The free breakfast was good, and staff were courteous and very helpful. The only complaint was with the bathroom. The toilet appeared to be leaking from the base; we reported it several times, but it was never corrected. Beyond that, our stay was very enjoyable. I would stay here again.

breakfast ran out be like 9am--we had to wait for more. the eggs were definitely not fresh and dried out/hardened in 5 minutes. it was inedible. bagels were sub-par quality.. breakfast was not good at all.

For the price, you cannot beat the location. Walking distance to great restaurants and bars in Woodside and Sunnyside. One block from the 52nd Street 7 train stop. 20 minute train ride to Grand Central. 20 minute express bus plus train ride to LGA Room is small, but what do you expect in NYC? However, they do need some maintenance. Linens were clean but the curtains could have used an update and the shower faucet was nearly falling apart.

Great option to visit Manhattan for a good price
We had a good experience, the room was clean, comfortable, ok breakfast, it has parking for 8-10 cars I believe, we were lucky to find a spot and had no problem with it during our visit because to get to Manhattan we took the metro, the 52nd street station is just one block away from the hotel, so that's a big plus, it only takes 4 stops to get into Manhattan.

It's really too close to subway station, comfortable bed, breakfast and parking lot included. Really good wi-fi signal in the rooms. It needs more space and tables at breakfast rooms.It needs more variaty on breakfast items. Although it has a good breakfast, it was the same meals every day. Should change a litlle bit.

BED BUGS!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
The most horrible place you can book, we put few friends at that hotel, bed bugs, the sheets were not changed for 7 days. We had to fight over and over with the staff about it, we asked them to get a bed bug spray but they did not help at all. Now we have to take them to the doctor.. Stay away from this place!!!!!!

BEDBUGS!!! DON'T BOOK!
Initially, I did not have an issue with this hotel during my stay. It was convenient in location and it was a decent hotel for the price. However, the issues came after we checked out. After checking out, my guest and I discovered that we had all been bitten by bedbugs. We have bites all over our face, arms and legs. I contacted the front desk to inform them about the situation and the girl that picked up was extremely rude. She didn't bother to ask for my name or room number. It was almost as if she was aware of the bed bugs and didn't care. I asked to speak with her manager and she told me the manager wasn't available. I explained to her what happened and she kept saying that I should have notified them at the point of check out. I explained to her that bed bug bites don't necessarily appear right away and she showed no empathy. She did not have a response for me only that it was my fault for not notifying them. After receipting the same response multiple times, she didn't offer to have management contact me. Instead, I had to request a call back. I have yet to hear back from management. I contacted the guest relations department and I can't seem to get through as they keep you on hold for over 20 minutes. I've resorted to emailing the guest relations department twice but I have not heard from them either. It is a shame that this happened because I was satisfied with the hotel until this embarrassing situation happened. At this point I do not know who else to contact.

Econonic Hotel in central location
Thus hotel is close to train, buses and other transportation to Manhattan and downtown. The parking is really limited about10 cars and small. The breakfast is more like Continental, rather than hot as shared on website. The staff was helpful and the room fairly kept in good shape...

The first room they gave us was in the C level which looks like the basement when we first opened the door of the room it smells like smoke and the room is listed as "non-smoking room" and then my friend opened the drawer of the table that has a mirror, she saw a package of gum and cigarettes. We requested for a new room the same night and the second room is a lot more better than the first one. And the breakfast is the same every day.

The room was quite nice and the neighborhood was quieter and peacful than I expected. Overall, the stay was quite pleasant. However, when I checked-out the hotel in the early morning, I was in such a rush that I forgot to ask for my deposit money back. The guy at the reception desk only said "ok, you can leave now." as I returned the key. I would like the $50 deposit back to my credit card account as soon as possible. Thank you.

I love hotels. Even cheap ones. Even flea bags. I sleep better in a hotel room than anywhere. HOWEVER there were two highly absurd choices that management has made that made deep sleep a challenge. 1) pillows. The pillows were the shape and size of throw pillows. Seriously. I fail to see the logic. Every time I rolled over I fell into pillow limbo. Granted, there were five of them, but two regular sized pillows would've provided a sounder sleep. 2) Curtains are for decoration only. They don't close. The curtain rod ends a few inches in and the only defense against the remorseless light of day is a sheer wisp of white translucent fabric. Maybe they do that to make sure guests don't miss breakfast, but I'd prefer curtains over Danishes. I'm easy to please. I don't need much to saw logs with the best of them. But these issues do not lend themselves to restful slumber.

Quiet neighborhood
The hotel is in a nice quiet on Queens Blvd and is only 10 minute walk to the train and many restaurants and grocery stores. The hotel staff was very accommodating due to the snow storm.

Nice hotel for the price!
The staff were very accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a hotel in central Queens. The neighborhood felt pretty safe even walking around alone late at night.

Nice hotel on major road
Very close to the Subway. Price was cheaper than other area hotels. Limited parking and we were asked to park on street with no guidance or help. At least hotel staff should tell what/where is public parking available etc as they were local and we were visitors. Instead we were reading signs where to park and what day/time does the street cleaning hour apply at 2 A.M. at 25 degree. Mostly nice Indian staff. Chinese night person was rude.

Price and location great value.
Stayed here for 3 nights with family of 4. This hotel is in an ok location. 3 minute walk to #7 train. It is in a residential neighborhood and the neighborhood was ok. Room was clean. It is a 20 minute train ride to Manhattan. Breakfast was basic and the sitting area only had a couple of tables. This hotel was excellent for the price and location compared to staying in Manhattan. I would stay here again if in area. Lastly but not least GO METS

Decent hotel lose to the underground
We spent 5 nights in NYC s a part of an east coast trip. Wanted to book something at a reasonable price, but a good location and easy access to Manhattan. Quality inn is basically fulfilled everything we wanted. REALLY close to the underground, about a minute walk. Then Manhattan is only 15 minute on the train. Good location, close to JFK and LGA. Clean rooms, can be a bit noisy if close to the ice machine. Breakfast is provided at no extra cost, reasonable and a good start for the day. Would recommend.

Good hotel with a great location next to subway.
Keep on your mind it's 2stars hotel with 2-3stars service no more! This hotel is for someone who wants to stroll all day outside in every weather, and to come back just for sleeping over night. The breakfast area is small, but the service was very good. You can always find other affordable restaurants nearby. The price for excellent for NYC so I would stay there again.

I had a decent stay here for three nights. The room was fairly clean, aside from some stains on the curtains and a stain on the carpet near the trash can. You could see light from the hallway on three sides of the door, and could really hear people in the hallway. The cleaning staff did a good job cleaning the room. The breakfast area is relatively small. There were only a few tables, and many people took the food to their rooms to eat. I lucked out and got a table all but one of the breakfasts I ate there. If you get off at the 53rd St exit of the 7 train subway station, the hotel is one block away. I do not know if they allowed smoking, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming from the hallway one morning. I guess the smoke detectors were not working.
