"Carpet smelled, mold in the showers, sticky floors, no ice, had to switch rooms 3 times, will not stay again"

"Rooms are VERY compact ( we had 4 adults in a 2 double bed room) but the location and friendly staff cannot be beat!!! We were in NYC to go to 2 Broadway shows and a Yankees game. Easy walking access to everything, including the subway. Entrance to hotel is around the corner from Broadway, so you get away from some of the neon lights/ heavy traffic. “Continental breakfast” was really a hot, restaurant style breakfast…. we were impressed! Felt it was a real value. Hotel felt clean and safe."

"Room and staff were great. Only issue was one elevator was in repair which then caused congestion for guests to go up and down thoughout day. Management did apologize for inconvenience. The staff overall and house keeping was wonderful. "

"The location is good but everything else is not. Gym looks like it has never been cleaned. The shower had mold, and tub drain didn’t work well. The carper was dirty, the chairs were dirty. The rooms are as when hotel first opened and very outdated."

"Great location (head away from Broadway and find restaurant row over 8th). Comfortable, but small, rooms. Good options with free breakfast. Rum House worth a visit (or two) "

"STAFF WAS PLESANT"

"Excellent hotel right near Penn Station. Large and clean room. Staff was very friendly. Held our bag after we checked out until we headed out to the airport. Highly recommended!"
